if you are non latin , i would suggest you to be very careful. the culture is very different and language barrier does cause problems.

Not everyone..my dad is from cali and he arrives an hour early. My gf is costeña and even though costeños are notorious for being late she arrives 2 hours or an hour early

On point 👍👌 we also love our coffee in Bogota. I drink cafe con leche to help me fall asleep 🤷 Also consider yourself lucky if you're less than 30 minutes late. Colombians are known to be at least an hour late 😂

There are so many kinds of Arepa that there is an arepa for everybody. My favorite turned out to be chocolo. And since you didn’t ask: Favorite coffee is Matiz, favorite aguardiente is Amarillo, favorite snack brand is Ramo, favorite bread is almojábana.

@@WheresWes You should try the arepa valluna which is salty My family makes it with curdled milk (sour old milk) and grated country white cheese mixed into the dough with same salt and sugar. Comes out a tad salty. Spread some butter on it or put a flank steak with onions on top with sofrito/ahogado on the top and you are good😊

Holes in any clothes are unacceptable. I was in my 20's before.....but any holes in any clothes need to be mended if expensive.....but socks/under garments...need to be trashed. Take it from someone older....throw it out. Same if shoes are worn....fix it if expensive or throw them out also.

I agree 100% with Wes. Im a little older so my girlfriend is a little bit older... After we dated for a while i made her show me her driver's license to prove how old she ie... She even brought her passport to show me... Colombian women are THAT BEAUTIFUL! Her apartment is spotless, her cooking skills are chef level, and she excells in everything she does... She is perfection i mean everything! to me... The only thing she is different from traditional Colombian women her age is she is quite independent... She lives her life. As Wes said family is above everything else. I think until we get married, i will be number 2... I cant imagine what happens when im number 1 -

Brazilian women and Colombian women sound very similar. No matter their financial status.....Brazilian women always look good, go to gyms, keep house spotless, cook good food, etc.....just don't bring either one back to the US....trust me on the last one lol.
