Really good and informative video. Thanks. Living behind enemy lines in Los Angeles, forbids me from shooting suppressed. "I am depressed" LOL

Great show ! I don’t know bout you, but I feel like $20/box ammo ought to go off at zero degrees . I’ve been having 1/50 failures with my Lapua lately . That’s a beauty of a rifle ! Thank you for posting!

I have not had good luck with laupa ammo in my cz457 at one changed over to sk rifle match it shoots very well out to 250 yards plus is cheaper ammo than laupa very happy about that

🙏 Thank you. 🙇 Surprised you’re not shooting a bolt. I liked my Dead Air Mask on my CZ457 so much I had to get a CZ452 and Sav MKI cut and threaded too. My suppressed CZ 452 out shoots plenty of high dollar gun$ pretty often. 😍 Not impressed with the Volquartsen either.

If it wasnt such a pia i would run a suppressor on all my toys. But the nfa and the waiting period has produced the end goal that dems love, i have no desire to buy and wait a year to take it home.

26 seconds in and I can say you won’t know what the most accurate is until you test it on YOUR own rifle. It’s like asking which load/lot # is best. EVERY rifle is an individual unto itself. The weight and length combined with your barrel harmonics will play into this. Not to mention weight and how that weight changes based on fouling build up.

@Dayattherange at 50 it's a ragged hole, sub moa at 100... my 10 year old son shoots it at Lil 2 inch poppers at 100 like it's nothing. Shoot it out to 425 yards regularly and it stays on target. Only issue I had was was about the first 500 rounds was it not ejecting properly, then one day it just started running flawlessly.

@@joshuascout5549 I was in a rush to get one of the first ones. It had to be sent back to the factory for ejection issues I forget now the two things they told me they had to fix. I wish m experience would have been the same.

@Dayattherange trust me I was about to sale it cause a rifle that jams like that due to ejection was junk... then it just worked itself out. I keep it in the deer stand with me. There is a branch at 105 yards that squirrels come out on. Bullet hitting the squirrel is louder than the gun going off. It loves eley target and rws target. Wish you had a better experience with yours.

I’m jealous I wish us Canadians could buy and use cans on our rifles. Would be a lot better on the ears and out of respect for the neighbors keeping the noise down. But here in Canada 🇨🇦 only the criminals get to use them. Oh well cheers buddy!

I’d recommend starting with a deep cleaned rifle and deep cleaned cans for the next installment using lot tested ammo for one rifle (ideally a bolt) 1st shot always off camera to pressurize the can then shoot 5 or 10 Start with no can then shoot the cans so there is something to compare against to see the impact of the tested can Dirty barrels, cans and no baseline using random ammo only tells you if it’s good enough for hunting or not - it’s not telling you much for precision shooting

The rifle was clean prior just got really dirty with the cans. Me and the owner talked about the same thing in using a bolt gun next time. I do like your thoughts about shooting no can then can. Though I stil felt like I learned alot at least one of those things were 22cans really aren't heavy enough on a steel barrel to have a change in point of impact. I also learned that EVEN with 22CANS you will still get a very dirty action which honestly I never considered previously. ALL of them had a little blowback through the action which really surprised me. Though as I was telling him if I change rifles for the next test I will be crucified here for changing rifles so I feel I need to finish out with the top 3 cans and then maybe start a new series with a bolt action.

@@Dayattherange I always get a POI shift with my cans I didn’t know about the whole first shot thing being the one that pressurizes the can until I saw a video on it where they were measuring the db - big difference after the can loaded up on the first round One video I saw a guy fill his can with gel to prevent that issue - it seemed to work but no way I’m doing that 😂 Cans are definitely dirty beasts I enjoy them but don’t use them for precision anymore as I’ve never seen a top benchrest or F-Class shooter use then so that tells me something

I don't think your rifle is a shooter or it doesn't like that ammo. It might be because it's a semi-auto? It would have to be hitting the same hole at 50 yards to compare suppressors for accuracy. A suppressor changes the point of impact on my Anschutz but it's consistent. Having said that, I don't have several to choose from. My advice would be keep the scope and sell the gun. We'll worry about suppressors after you get a rifle. I've seen a 12 ga with buckshot shoot better groups. lol

I wish the nfa would go away, it would be nice to have been able to protect my hearing. If they were legal, and more importantly used by the military the va wouldn’t have had to spend 2500 on hearing aids for me.

I take it they didn't give you earplugs. I know of artillery folks suffering that did have ear protection but guessing the sound and pressure waves travel through the body and into the ear canal. I have doubts however the 22 lr especially shooting match ammo or subsonic ammo would have that effect. I couldn't agree with you more about the nfa.@@jefflayton5889
