GoPro is so last year. Unfortunately. I'm pretty much switching all to DJI now: for my lower end stuff: Pocket 3, Mini 4 Pro, etc.Still have the Hero 12, but probably better to get the Action next time. And of course I use the RS2 and RS3 gimbals for the heavy stuff.

Hey Robin, great videos!! Love the quality of them. Question... Which one would you consider faster/better for video process workflow (record, export, edit and publish), the DJI Action 4 or Insta360 ace pro? I am stuck between these two, I want my first action camera to be a good purchase and last me for a while. I am a DYI guy and also like to hike from time to time. I want my first action camera to be well used to record DYI projects and outdoor hobbies, potentially vlogs and use it as a complementary camera to capture different angles for projects around the house, have the least amount hassles during the processing and getting my videos ready for KZfaq. Which would you recommend?

Im glad i found your channel as im not someone who does extreme sports but i want a camera for travel. I cant decide though, i had the pocket 3 but sold it recently as it wasn't for me, i would be scared, that i would break it, i used to own the go2 and the x2 and loved the go2 so much and regret selling it. The x2 i didn't know how to use the software with it properly. I also brought it only holiday with me and never used it but i did use the go2 more, because it was small and easier to carry. the action 4 does look interesting though, plus its on sale at the moment. But lots to think about lol. For me its between the go3, x3 and action4. But i do fear i somehow could break the x3 glass out of pure clumsyness lol

Hi, From your explanation, you’re delicate with your gear. If that’s the case, the A4 or AP is the way to go. A4 is user friendly out of the box, good colors, and easy to use. AP, if you shoot a lot of low light and want lots of features using their software app. The mimo app doesn’t even come close because I guess they figure, the UI (user interface) on the A4 is simple enough. So if your workflow is to shoot casual or with fam, want to just download to smartphone then A4 is easiest. You don’t need to shoot in Dlog if you don’t color grade. And if you can afford to spend more, need lowlight, and have more flexibility on software edits, then it’s AP

I have them all. None fit the bill for all situations. None are perfect Depending on circumstances, some are terrible. For example HOT environments... one of these is TERRIBLE.

Which one did you find is terrible in hot environments? I’d heard the action 4 was bad for overheating, but I’ve just come back from South Africa where it was 42C and had no issues with the camera. Hot to the touch after a 2hr30 continuous recording (POV bush walk), but all worked well
