The thing you gotta remember about the part 1 characters is that the early stuff is in 1880 and the later events are in 1888/89. So, even kid Dio's 80's businessman look is very fashion-forward for his time.

Funny Valentine's drip is so good it can even make Fatty Valentine and Irradiated Valentine look decent. Also, just imagine Valentine's pants with Diavolo's lingerie. It'd take more confidence than any mentally stable human has to pull off, but it could work.

The outfit that Kars was wearing when he saved the dog easily puts him up with Dio in part 1. Personally I think it would be Doppio to have gotten the tattoo because he seems a little more impulsive like when he threw the scaplels at Bruno. Definitely want to see a side antagonist version of this list to we can get Diego and Risotto ranked.

Tamaki D-amo at D is wild to me, he's a solid B for me, he's got that greasy disgusting sweaty slimy drip, he just hits that note in my little monkey brain. Also compared to Tooru I feel like I can get his personality and purpose on the story just from his design. Tooru gives me nothing of the sort, he looks like he wandered into the story from a Toys R us. I like a few things in isolation from him, with Damo it all just works together, there's a rhyme and reason to his design, Tooru feels like a bunch of ideas slapped together

I feel like I'm on some araki shit because i love Tooru's design and I think that Tamaki Damo did exactly what he was supposed to do... but put that outfit in a body with better hair and i think it could be pretty fucking cool. Tooru and Wonder of U are some of my favourite designs ever though. (The Araki versions anyway, the colouring in the regular manga i like less)

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think Puchi grew his hair out, it just looks like weird hair-colored tassles on the back of his coat. At least in the anime, you can see his hair is buzzed down at the back and ends at his neck. Would be cool if it was hair though.
