Which Mazda Gray is Best?

Mazda has developed some beautiful exterior colors over the last few years. There's always a question in my mind as to which gray is best. The Polymetal Gray and the Machine Gray right next to each other spark a good discussion.

Machine Gray. I have a CX-30 in that color. It almost has a gold color when the Sun hits it.

Sweet ! Did u get the carbon edition? Cause that’s what I got cause it was either that or wait four months for a cheaper trim or spend a few grand more just to get more colors so I got the carbon deal and I love the red sears the grey isn’t my favorite but it does look sleek if it looks well in the sun I’m looking forward to that !😊

I was convinced in getting the soul red until I saw the machine grey in the showroom and changed my mind to the machine grey - timeless elegance and so far isn’t showing any chips or marks!

They’re both insanely gorgeous! I personally think the machine grey is more upscale and classy whilst the poly-metal grey is eye catching, but less “attention seeking”. If that makes sense 😂

They’re both greyt. I give the lead to polymetal until you get to the turbo premium trim and the rims and front chrome trim turn smoked grey. When those colors are slapped on the machine grey it looks like a mean, grey machine

Machine grey all the way. Machine grey looks elegant and looks gun metal in person. While the polymetal grey has the same color as Amazon delivery truck.

CX-5 because it’s built in Japan, has an independent rear suspension and materials in second row are same quality as front row. The CX-50 May have a higher ground clearance (which is great) but is not roomy. Test it’s longer than the xx-5 which translates in better leg room but is shorter which translates in worst head room.

I think machine gray will and has aged better than the polymetal gray... the machine gray of the older model mazda with machine grey looks more timeless than the newer model polymetal gray mazda... kind of like all car colors trends like the popular gold colors of the early 2000's or like the burgundy colors of the 90's they quickly become boring.

Polymetal is terrible. It's crayon gray. I don't know why manufacturers are pushing it. In a decade we'll look back and wonder what we were thinking. Full disclosure, I bought a machine gray CX-90. It's my favorite car color.
