The most valuable feature of AirPods Max is how well the transparency mode works. You can even sing while listening in transparency mode, which is something that other headphones don't offer.

Okay all...confirmed...THIS IS NOT ALL PLASTIC. Mostly Aluminum and Magnesium were used in the build. Some plastics on the ear cups. Update (Dec 28, 2022) - I received my Focal Bathys and it's clearly made mostly of aluminum and magnesium. Magnesium coating can give a feel of plastic to some too. This is built so well. I am returning my B&O H95 immediately . Focal Bathys is at a different level. Like he is saying in the video..when you listen via DAC it's game over. Bluetooth listening is awesome too.

Interesting I returned my Bathys for specifically it’s poor build quality. The plastic that’s glued to the metal part of the headband started to come apart on my first pair, and on the 2nd. I was aware of problems with the other focal headbands, but this one happened way too fast on both pairs with less than 10 hours of use. I found them pretty shitty for a pair of Bluetooth headphones because the buttons/features felt cheap. I replaced them with a pair of focal clears (obviously no comparison) and am debating a pair of APM for convenience/ mobility l.

@@electrology god I almost forgot! That too! Felt like having an open back with none of the advantages sometimes, now I remember that I also disliked the ANC always being on, despite focal’s assertion that it’s to preserve the sound characteristics/dynamic response.

I just took the focals on a trip and it blew my mind. I wasn't very impressed with them in an at home setting, but man, when taken outside, something changed. They were excellent on the airplane, and although kind of odd to walk around with outside, also excellent. The battery lasts forever, which was something I found awesome. You can easily get through a day and change running them the entire day, quick charges gets you up and running in like 30min if you somehow manage to drain it over the course of the day, which...I don't know what you're doing to do that, bc I wore mine all day and my phone died before the headset. The only thing that wierded me out was feeling like someone might recognize them and try to snatch them off my head and just take off running. That bit I didn't like. Its not like a $5k watch where that sucker is chained to your wrist. Also, I caught the focals on sale for $600, then swing traded a couple stocks, so I only paid around $300 for them lol.

Listen to him people. The Focals sound amazing - especially with hifi music. Also the AirPods Max get my ears too hot while the Focals gets me in the mood to hroove. 😏

Can you help me decide which to purchase? I have iPhone 13 and iPad pro M1, no laptop just these two devices… but When I heard the comparison of APM and Bathys via those bineural mics, I loved the Bathys, I have owned Xm5 which I returned due to poor build and hinge issues. My priority is sound the longevity (Bathys are better is these aspects? I feel) but the Apple ecosystem is tempting, Using two apple headphones simultaneously to watch a movie with my friends and so on other things Please help!

@@Classical_soni I think most valuable feature of AirPods Max is how well the transparency mode works. You can even sing while listening in transparency mode, which is something that other headphones don't offer. So if you love singing you probably would like to go with the AirPods Max, and plus it's super convenient to use APM under eco system. I don't own Bathys, never tried it, but I believe bathys is going to be better at sound. btw AirPods Max will get an update at the end of the year according to rumors. So probably not a good time to purchase APM unless you got a really good discount.

Bathys, compared all 3. Px8 comes closer over BT, but focal clarity is just better and good sound.. But once you use the DAC it's just no comparison. Honestly I was looking for sound so I got bathys, they lack in some of the other features compared to px8, h95, but I purely cared about sound and it being portable. I have bose qb 2 for anc so nothing else needed!

I admire what apple has done with headphones..perfect noise cancellation and Apple Music and great depth sound with spacial audio....

I own both - I love the APM, but they are unreliable. Mine basically don’t work anymore. They’re Apple’s worst product IMO. I’d say get the Bathys or get the APM with AppleCare.

thanks anh rất nhiều . minh từ Vietnam . Mình da canh me trên ebay mãi mới mua dc momentum 3 97% fullbox với giá 150 usd nên minh cũng sẽ canh me cái focal này khi nào nó về giá 300 usd 😂😂😂
