My a1c was 9.9 just over 11 months ago. My Doc put me on jardiance and I got my a1c down to 6.7 and i dropped 40lbs.I'm dropping jardiance this week and starting Mounjaro on Monday. I'm hoping Mounjaro will help me continue to get my a1c to a normal range, help my cholesterol and lose a few more lbs.

Are you still seeing a shortage? I just switched, start Friday- worried about starting at a lower dosage from 1mg Ozempic! Thank you for the videos!

I am having to switch to Ozempic because my insurance decided to not cover it anymore after 6 months! I have lost 92 pounds on Manjuro and just feel that it will not work as well on Ozempic. Do you have any thoughts doc?

My wife has been denied twice for using coupon manjauro and unfortunately has to start taking ozempic seems like such a let down and we’re expecting failure for ozempic as a weight loss option

I couldn’t tolerate 2mg of Ozempic so my doctor wants me to start Mounjaro now. Have you seen a difference in side effects between the two medications?

Each medicine works differently and dosage works different. I haven’t had patients have too many GI side effects till the 10mg of mounjaro and usually these symptoms pass quickly

I need help I was on Ozempic for months then was on 2.0 dose gor few month and then started feeling really. And got depressed weight gain. So my doctor put me on Mounjaro and I just started on the 2.5 dos I'm just inching my second week of it. And I'm still hungry and haven't noticed any decrease in hunger just extremely thirsty. Question is it going to take me awhile to find my in this new medicine? I'm hoping this one will help me I'm scared.😢

No disrespect Doc, I appreciate that you prescribe these off label because my sister has had great success with Mounjaro but what about yourself as a physician? You’re obese… are these medications not working for you or you don’t want to take them?

Interesting you started with no disrespect…but we can move past that. I don’t write mounjaro off label even though I know some prescribers do. To get approval from insurance or to use the copay card you have to confirm you have type 2 diabetes I don’t feel comfortable lying or taking samples away from my patients since my a1c is 5.2. Please don’t comment further on my channel. I do these videos for education to help patients further understand their medications and diseases. Each person is different and you know nothing about my life or medical history just like I don’t know my subscribers and why it’s always important to talk your own healthcare provider
