Insomniac’s Spiderman shouldn’t have had a mask during this scene IMO. He had his red mask removed when the symbiote transferred to him at the abandoned zoo. He also didn’t wear a mask when the symbiote took over in his sleep. It would have made that scene 10x better was if we saw Peter’s facial expression taking off the symbiote and if Miles had given Peter his original mask back.

The first one pays homage to Spider-Man 3, both are great

Tobey Maguire's scene. In my opinion. I also really like how it's happening on a Church because it's like Peter is ripping off his Devil. And he comes out as a man, not a hero or a monster, a man. He also struggled a lot more which futher shows how strong the Symbiote is and how strong Peter has to be.

I think the movie, it looks way scarier and harder plus the symbiotic is trying to climb back on and you can see it struggling to hold on to him.

Toby gave like a feeling of claustrophobia and he was actually struggling super hard to take venom off and venom was actually resisting

I think the reason Lowenthals wasn’t as impactful is because it all went by so fast (literally within the span of a day)

Tobey’s was more horrifying and painful to go through. Lowenthal’s was very painful too. But it took more “yay!!” heroic approach. And both are awesome for it!

I really didn’t like how Insomniac’s Venom barely fought to stay on Peter. Like yeah he struggled to get it off but it was more like it was just glued onto him than being a living creature trying to stay attached. Rami’s Venom clearly fought to stay on Peter for as long as it could and it was done so well with the cgi and Tobey’s performance.

I’d definitely prefer the OG one because it was my childhood

Spider man 3 you already know that that look way better than the game one removing the Symbiot see the real struggle and using that church bell and fighting it on his own

Toby because you can see his face, adding greatly to the feeling of the scene by visually showing the struggle of the suit and emotion of the action.

Tobeys symbolize was a lot harder to get off and when he hits the bell and you see venom, it’s just so cool, just realized that spider man 3 is like lego venom, and spider man PS5 is like actual Venom😂

I like the rami one better because the symbiote merged with his suite I always thought it weird that an alien goo merging with stuff could be torn off and the suite perfectly intact.

If you know the backstory for tobeys then youd probably vote for him. Basically, the symbiote is actually eating him. So hes in so much pain trying to remove it because its so deep in him and hes practically removing his own flesh. Also not gonna lie i thought it was way cooler that when he hits the bell, you can see venoms face.

Spiderman 3. Nothing tops that. There were many emotions in that scene. Rebirth of a hero and birth of another villain

Even though Spider-Man 3 is a bad taste the bell scene was iconic

Tobey's feels more satisfying since it takes more time. One thing I really like is that the Symbiote in the Raimi movies didn't exactly move like tendrils exactly, but it was like a mass of little arms or webs that crawls over surfaces and onto their hosts. You can see it when peter tries to take it off, it keeps trying to reattach itself and makes these beautiful web patterns. It looks amazing!

Tobey's version had it where the symbiote was desperate to stay with him until Eddie, while the Insomniac version didn't even show that the symbiote wanted to stay with Peter, it just didn't try.

Toby’s not even my favorite but that symbiote scene was great it’s still trying to reconnect to him while he’s taking it off.

Although i have serious nostalgia for tobey, as Spider-Man 3 was the first movie to jntroduce me to Spider-Man, i gotta say even though theyre almost the same i gotta say the ps5 did it better, yuri lowenthals performance was great and seeing the classic red and blue be revealed instead of bare skin is just the chefs kiss

Tobey had realism with the symbiote trying to latch back on and keep the connection better which honestly is the best

Maybe Tobey's looks more hard and painfull, but the whole insomniac situation just makes it a lot better, Peter fighting miles while he is fighting his inner Demons at the same time, maybe Tobey's is more dramatic, but Insomniac's is more poetic and epic

The symbiote is supposed to eat away at you like a parasite and tobeys version has him naked and hurt and tired which resembles the suit actually doing what it's supposed to do which is to eat your skin. When Tobey rips the suit from his chest you can see the suit latched on like a leach were as the games suit looks super glued on.

Spider-Man 3 is best. Insomniac Spider-Man is not so bad.

I think Insomniac's would've been on par with Tobey's if the Symbiote actually ripped off part of Peter's suit, like it was trying desperately not to be removed and was trying to keep its grip by mere threads

tobeys felt like it was actually trying to stay on. whenever he would rip some off it would reattach itself, like an actual living being, yuris just felt like he was pulling off sticky slime.

The only thing I like about the insomniac spider-man, is the lighting, because it’s probably a homage to the venom of the original tv-show

The way maguire looks like his putting every ounce of his strength into it and the vxf making the suit look like its clinging on for dear life makes it a very good scene
