I really like the TX Blended. It has a really good vanilla finish to it and its one of the most common asked for by friends when they come over. The 1792 is very good too.

Angels envy Rye is definitely a showstopper! One New Year’s Eve party, I was tasting whiskey with a friend of mine‘s uncle. Angels envy right was in the rotation, and when the clock struck 12 he gave me a part of it to give to my girlfriend. She fell in love with it too! #WhiskeyChristmas #BoldFortune

If you love Smokey and want something nicer from Ireland then you’ll really appreciate the Connemara whisky. I think it’s the only Irish that uses Pete and it was definitely Smokey and enjoyable.

Been drinking bourbon , Irish whiskey and scotch for decades. It’s all whiskey/whisky. Eagle Rare has been my go to old fashion mixer and a daily for most that time. Really enjoy the vid and the list. Woodfords dbl oak is just iconic must have bottle. Viking 12 and Bowmore 12 are tasty scotches with also being an introductory to Islay style whisky. Never had Blue Run so looking forward to getting a bottle. Enjoy green spot and wish more spots were available near me. Also managed to acquire an Ardbeg Hypernova. I'm really interested to see how it'll compare to say Octomore. Won't really know for another 2 weeks. That's when getting with friends to do tastings and Ardbeg Hypernova, Blanton's Red Takara, and Highwest Midnight's Winter Dram are what I'm bringing to the table.

I love a great whiskey, but although the Highland Park 12yr old has a beautiful bottle, but I can not deal with Scotch. Tried many times. Only one that I could tolerate was a single barrel. But it was still to much like drinking iodine.
