Thank you all for watching my reaction to White Christmas! While it was little long I really enjoyed this movie overall. Not sure it'll be a permanent rotation for my Christmas movie watching but definitely will watch it again. Let me know what you thought of the movie in the comments! I'd also love to know your favorite movie as well! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!!

Finally someone is watching this holiday treasure! For me it doesn't feel like christmas without it, and it has so many iconic songs and lines. "Without so much as a kiss my foot or have an apple!"

Loved your reaction to a childhood favorite of mine! Yes, the ending always makes me tear up, too. And as many times as I've seen this, I never noticed the nine kids thing. Great catch! There are quite a few that I love, but for me, my go-to Christmas movie is always "It's a Wonderful Life." As a fan of musicals. I'm guessing you've probably seen 1955's "The Court Jester" with Danny Kaye. If not, would you consider reacting to it? That's another one I never get tired of watching. LOL! Thanks for watching and sharing. 😊

I always loved that technicolor. Rosemary Clooney's solo in her black dress is the best number. I've never done acid, but I'd guess the Mandy number is close to being a bad, yet beautifully vibrant trip. Vera Ellen's spider walk down the stairs is a bit frightening. The fake outdoor sets are beautiful, especially for the When You're Dancing number. Yep, that's what people did back then, when they left the dance floor together.

My mom watched this multiple times every year and even after I moved out we would watch together at least once. It’s been 15 years since her passing and I haven’t missed a year even though there have been a few real tough watches. It became so ingrained with my wife she got tickets for her and I to see a local stage group do White Christmas this year.

I watch this every Christmas Day with my husband. It's my favorite Christmas movie. Every time I watch it, I see something new! But I've never noticed the nine kids around them at the end! I look forward to pointing that out to my husband this year! And I love that you cried. I still get choked up at that scene. Fantastic reaction.

Actually, Bing went on to have a total of 7 children, but who's counting? This movie has special significance for me. Every year when I was growing up in the 1960's this film was broadcast at Christmas time. We had it on the TV while trimming the tree. Dad, who was in WWII, had been told he looked kind of like Bing Crosby, so he always played on that whenever we came across a song of his on radio or any other reference. But for me, it isn't Christmas without seeing this film. These days, it's almost shocking that this film is no longer in seasonal rotation. There's been heavy reliance by KZfaq reactors on doing reactions to "It's A Wonderful Life" and "Scrooged", and there's some duplication of other Christmas-themed films, but I really miss seeing full broadcasts or KZfaq reactions to "White Christmas" and the 1951 "A Christmas Carol" with Alastair Sims or even the 1984 version with George C Scott. So. thank you so very much for doing this. It brought back to me a time over 50 years in the past.

What people seem to forget is that Hungarian born American director Michael Curtiz (kerr-teez) had directed most of the best movies out of Warner Bros. Some of his best known films: "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (1939) with Errol Flynn and Olivia DeHavilland, the film noir mystery/suspense "Mildred Pierce" (1945) with Joan Crawford, another musical "Yankee Doodle Dandy" (1942) with James Cagney, and the iconic film "Casablanca" (1942) with Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains, and Paul Henreid. He won the Oscar for Best Director for "Casablanca." He discovered a lot of great talent one of which was John Garfield and directed Elvis Presley in another musical "King Creole" (1958).

The "Sister's" music number where Wallace and Davis actually dance the number was a joke during a break and not part of the original show. They decided to do for the movie after they saw them perform it!

And those opening credits, by the way, painted on panes of glass, as was usual at the time. Talk about old school. Crosby didn't end up having nine kids, but he did have seven. You may have seen Mary Wickes in any one of 50 movies made between 1942 and 1995.

Since you love musicals, if you haven’t seen them yet, you should consider watching some Team Starkid musicals. They’re some of my favorite musicals ever, and (at the risk of sounding conceited), I’m a musical theater actress, so that’s a somewhat educated opinion, lol The Starkid fan base is also completely rabid (in the best way), and reacting to them will likely boost your subscriber count like crazy. As a bonus, Starkid is usually really chill about copyright, (they usually end up posting all their shows for free here on KZfaq) so you likely wouldn’t even have to do any editing! Side note: You have a lovely voice ❤️

Glad you liked it. One of my favorites but I totally agree it is too long. CUT THAT DANNY KAYE CHOREOGRAPHY NUMBER, maybe even "Mandy" and it would be better. Some of the original songs written for this movie by Irving Berlin were big hits in 1954. "Count Your Blessings" was big and so was "Sisters".

It's not a remake of Holiday Inn, but it did use one of the songs for the title and inspired story of White Chriatmas, as well as Easter Parade. Holiday Inn is a b&w musical with Bing and Fred Astaire. FABULOUS flick and worth watching, as well!
