Hi Ning we are not staying at de flora that is the sister hotel we are staying at casa de la flora and just want to know how far are the markets and restaurants from casa as it seems to be out of the way of everything we are getting worried as we are in our seventies and walking too far is not really what we want .

Remember guys if the tide is receding the worse you can do is to pick up shells and watch for fishes. RUN! Tsunami is on the way

In the morning, the atmosphere is suitable for breakfast. Really suitable for all times. They have dinner too.

Yes can walk , but depend the water high tide or low:)

Hey you don't have to answer this question if you don't want to. But where you there during the 2004 Tsunami? I've been really interested in this topic for a week now and there's not a lot of footage to come by to see the full destruction that the wave caused at Khao Lak.

At that time, I was working at Phuket Airport, I was at Phuket Airport. My husband Jokey works at Khao Lak Le Meridien Resort. At that time he was at home in Bang Niang, if you know the 813 police boat. Our home is there. [[Row of buildings next to the road]] Jokey hit by tsunami. He almost died from the tsunami. He couldn't swim there but he climbed up to the second floor of the house...
