White Water Summer - Movie Resurrection Review

Shady Jay and Tim review White Water Summer. An experienced wilderness guide, Vic (Kevin Bacon) leads a group of teenagers from the city on their first big outdoor adventure. One of the boys, the sheltered and defiant Alan (Sean Astin), resents Vic's tough attempts at teaching them life lessons and clashes with him. After tensions have built up between Vic and his young charges, he is injured in an incident and needs their help so that they all can survive the ordeal and make it back to civilization.

Yeah, it's actually Chris who breaks Alan's radio (much later) after Vic leaves them temporarily. Vic just tells him to turn it off, he doesn't take it.

This is a classic! I had no idea about the box office numbers, but sorta makes sense as I remember when I rented it as a kid I had never heard of it. All I knew was it had Mikey in it, lol. Great review of a great movie, I need to revisit it soon.

I loved this movie as a kid. Definitely an underrated movie. One that I would suggest watching and reviewing being as I'm typing this in October is Pumpkinhead.

This is such a great movie, and I was gonna say it but someone beat me to it but Matt Adler was great in the movie North Shore. An absolutely great surfing movie that shouldn't be missed. 😎
