I think something profound happened to David Coverdale after Jon Lord died. He suddenly remembered that he had a musical past that pre-dated 1987. When I saw Whitesnake in the early 90’s and early 2000’s, he never played any of these early tunes. The earliest we got was Slow an Easy. He’s embracing his past more freely now. Thankfully.
