Great performance!!! Whitney looks amazing and the song "For the Lovers" is infectous and could be a big hit for her if Arista decides to release it as a single with some hot new remixes! Love the line "To all the haters...I ain't singing to you!" I think the critics & media have been a bit harsh...personally I'm just happy she's back making music and performing again - WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU WHITNEY!!!

It has ATTITUDE and you deliver! I cannot explain how much I love to hear you singing it live here! I love listening to it in my car and in the mornings before I go to work just dancing to it in my underwear!

That must be a site for Bobby Kris to witness this world wide love for her mother!!! She was a Baby when Whitney was Killin Us back in the days but I'm sure she's heard the stories,, but it still has to be great to experience it as her child and as a young adult now!! How I've Prayed for Nippy!!

you're right. I can accept that from her though. I kinda wish she would "lip" to re-recorded vocals so as not to sound EXACTLY like the cd, but like I said, I can accept that from her. At first I didn't want to see her on tour, but I'm beginning to change my mind. It's SO time for another single and she should go on SaturdayNightLive.

@davebasf well there was a pre-recorded track (for the first two songs in her concert) playing and whitney was singing over it. So, this performance wasn't 100% live.

i'm not quite sure this is lipped. there might be a backup track, but she's definitely singing along with it. it sounds very different from the CD version. i don't even like this song, but the performance is great!

The problem is that Whitney is one of the very last artists who should ever need to lip-synch. The fact that she's doing it at all is troubling. I wondered how she would be able to tour with her vocal problems. She's openly criticized lip-synchers in the past. Perhaps she feels she has no choice at this point.

no not all of it, the verses are live by the sounds of it, the chorus is not live at all. She keeps adjusting the mic, something I have seen a lot of artists do when their headset mic goes live (pete burns for one and he used to do the same, sing over tracks) , becuase its moving around too much I am certain you can hear her is singing live at 2.44 you can hear breathing and a second voice echoing . Also some lines don't sound perfect. I would say she isn't miming the chorus either, she is just being drowned out on purpose , if you watch her she is singing her own thing and not what your actually hearing. This tour was never realised on dvd sadly so all you can find are these fan recordings to who knows what was going on, Its a hard song to do live and dance to and she didn't dance as much on other songs. Others are right the first two tracks had prerecordings voices playing over the top, the rest of the show was live sounding I think.
