Peter Rauhofer was a genius. Case in point, this remix. I never realized what an amazing song “The Greatest Love Of All” is until I heard this remix. This should’ve been the original version. It needed a dance beat to really bring out this songs’ powerful message. Whitney’s voice was a powerhouse. But balladry was not the way to accentuate her vocals in my opinion. If the music of her original songs was more like her Aunt Thelma’s, I probably would’ve been a much bigger fan. R.I.P. Peter Rauhofer. aka Club 69. And of course, R.I.P. Whitney Houston.

She always wanted “great songs” I disagree with respect but ballads bring out the voice in an artist. Just my humble opinion.😉
