Was it just me or was Whitney bringing it?! She was hitting those notes!!! I hate that the televised version didn't translate how powerful her voice was during the actual taping.

That stand ovation she always got was amazing! Even with half her voice she could still sing better then most. She is the best!

Although this video is great and the loudness and appreciation of the crowd is priceless...the enthusiasm of the crowd with the power of Whitney and Kim's vocals made it necessary for BET (like all shows do) to mix the sound. This footage is raw.....you would not have been able to hear (clearly) Whitney and Kim.

@ABBEYCOL Yeah it also seemed like they turned Whitney's microphone down in the broadcast version because in this both singers can be heard just as loudly but on TV Kim seemed louder... at first I thought she just had a more powerful voice but looking at this it seems to just her microphone was turned up in editing :)

@pipeluv: In fact, it is legal. It appears that your taping was unauthorized because you used a cell phone or camera with prior permission from the vendor or the producers of the show. Anyone can copy what you place on facebook - put their name on it and call it their own. Yes, it is legal. Nothing you can do about it. @frsh6272 whitney on 2:26 is a melisma, its when u take a note and expand it to another word all in the same breath. 3:39 is another example, listen to whitney on that part, thats a perfect example.
