"of the old days" Whitney was ONLY 48 years YOUNG when she died from drugs...something she battled, heavy user heavy addiction including heroin, from since she was in her early 20's and before...and at this point, most within the industry knew she was a drug addict. I’m a huge fan. Grew up imitating her voice when i sang. However this was not the top of her game. I have heard better from her. However the fact she was able to hide it so well is mind blowing! The public/fans couldn’t tell. We all loved her so much she could do no wrong, and noone was looking for any difference in her voice. But looking back as an adult yeah it was different😞 I was so happy when she started to come back to us…
