Birdo, in my opinion, is THE chemistry character. Birdo breaks the roster into two when one team takes Birdo. It's such terrifying power having Birdo, especially with her chemistry-boosted fielding skills, which is absurd. The fact they allowed Birdo's chemistry is insane to me.

To be completely honest, I think that Baby DK has some of the most important chemistry in the entire game.

If I were to guess, characters like Mario Bowser and Yoshi are really high up

One important thing to keep in mind is that negative chemistry is not taken into account in this tier list as far as I can tell (Watched without audio at the time of commenting) Were it taken into account, Bowser would definitely be much lower lol

I played this game a ton with my dad, but it was always barebones: no buddy moves, no items, and mercy off, so chemistry didn’t really matter at that point. Since finding and watching your channel, I’ve learned a lot, to the point where I’m sitting here calling pretty much every placement accurately 😂 like OBVIOUSLY Shy Guy is pretty mid but I mean his sleeper chem with Birdo is easy to miss, I mean there’s really just no question

Do the characters in Super sluggers have chemistry with each other that’s 1 to 100 like Mario Superstar Baseball or has that been simplified?

Making a list like this is really hard. For instance, I'd personally say that Toadsworth has the worst chemistry in the entire game because outside of Brown Mii, every one of his chem links can also be made using regular Toad, who is a strictly better character and there's 5 of him, and Brown is a fairly weak colour to begin with. But this analysis is kind of unfair right? Toad has amazing chemistry, and Toadsworth would too if his stats weren't awful in every regard. Same with Boo, who I also think has awful chemistry. King Boo, Blooper, and Magikoopa are all good characters but they're pitchers. Boo is also a pitcher, meaning at best, he's your team's backup pitcher. But if he was a power hitter? King Boo, Blooper, and Magikoopa are fantastic link partners. Something I felt went unaddressed in this video that really should've played more of a roll is link uniqueness. If you're the only way of linking into a character, that's an extremely powerful asset as you basically have access to two powerful characters that are much lower priority in terms of hatepicks. Kritter is one of the only characters in the game who has chemistry with K. Rool, and since K. Rool is a very strong character, being the second best K. Rool link carries much more weight than being the seventh best Birdo link, even if in a vacuum Birdo would be the "better" character to link into. Regardless, this was a very good effort, and I applaud the attempt.

What's the music that's playing the background

I loved seeing a new tier list, and I loved hearing the Mario Sports Mix Record music in the background, but I think Monty, Goomba, and Dry Bones should’ve been ranked just a bit higher, and the Nokis, and especially Luigi, should be ranked a bit lower on the list. However I can’t defend Waluigi, I love Waluigi, but his chemistry is just horrible. Overall, great list.
