There's been a million and one theories about who CX-2 is in The Bad Batch, here's 8(ish) of them and how likely I think they are to be right

I've been personally thinking he is dogma because i also think he will survive the bad batch and become one of the antagonists of the rex clone underground show

The longer its gone without a reveal, the more I've thought CX-2 will go into something else after The Bad Batch. Definitely feels like they've set up enough for the premise of an entire new show

I feel like if it’s a returning character, it has to be Cody. Cody has been in the show before. Rex and the Batch know him, so it would have emotional impact. He has a recognizable facial scar, so you’d know it’s him just from opening his mask. It’s not going to be a random clone from TCW like Dogma or Slick that general audiences aren’t going to remember.

Good shout on the face scar part, probably would need to be someone with some form of distinct feature for the reveal to work

I think Cody being CX2 would also hurt Echo because they worked together a few times, same as Rex and Cody

It’s not Tech because unlike Tech, CX2 didn’t know where Pavu island was Edit: it’s a clone of Crosshair I’m calling it now

I think It’s a reg with crosshairs enhancement not a direct clone of crosshair.

My pet theory is the same as yours - I've touted the idea of CX2 as actual Crosshair, with BB Crosshair being the clone of him, for a while now.

I really hope it's just some random clone. I couldn't take any of these becoming CX2. Except the amalgamation thing, but that's just stupid to begin with.

This is why the most important part of making predictions is being ready to be wrong, because you're probably going to be wrong. I'd rather that than things being completely predictable

I thought it was Tech too, but I agree, they ran out of time IMO to do that story justice. I want him back but I would rather he stay gone too. Same reasons, I don’t want to cheapen his sacrifice. But at the same time the hammering in the emphasis on Tech without the viewer getting a proper goodbye makes me feel like there could be a return of some sort. He could be just an imprisoned clone or more likely an experiment. I’m starting to think CX2 is just a random clone

@skinnyj123 Yeah, but they retcon their own comics all the time, look at the comic for Caleb Dume, a lot of what originally happened changed

I held on to the "CX-2 is Tech" theory for quite a while (and a part of me still does)... but now that we're a few mere days away from the finale, I'm starting to think that it's Cody.
