I'm using it regularly now too. He really is a religious zealot, and the idea of his presidency scares me like all the demons of all the fantasies and mythologies unleashing their pent up wraths and rages upon the living world. He would push for policies that would be disastrous both domestically (fiscally irresponsible, not to mention counter-productive) and internationally (war monger; hence: Cruzader) I'm not saying that fear should be our number one reason for disliking Cruz, but by all the gods fear really is compelling me to dislike him.

So far he has walked the walk while as a senator, blatantly challenging the Republican establishment while Donald Trump has been giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Clintons and the rest of the Democrats. Donald also funded amnesty for illegal immigrants (funding the infamous "Gang of 8" bill). But all along Ted Cruz has been fighting against that kind of corruption. Ted says he will walk a certain way and he actually does, while Donald promises to walk a certain way but has proven to walk a completely different way. I want some one who walks the walk and is not just good at talking and entertaining. If Ted Cruz is supposed to be such a big liar, then why has he consistently done the right thing throughout his whole career when it comes to Constitutional conservatism? That's all I'm saying...

I never called him a liar. I don't think he is consciously lying at all, and I believe that to lie you must know you are lying. I give everyone benefit of the doubt, and I'm led to believe that Ted Cruz is misled. He believes his rhetoric, and he believes he really is standing up for the "American way", but his policies would endanger America domestically and internationally. Increasing American involvement in quagmires such as the middle eastern conflicts we've been in for the past few decades are both costly and not good in popularity among the locals, for example. Meanwhile, Cruz says he wants to bomb ISIS until the sand glows in the dark. He says he wants to do targeted carpet bombing, but that inherently doesn't make sense, as carpet bombing is supposed to bomb areas indiscriminately. He doesn't seem like a liar to me, no; I think he's an idiot, one justified by his faith.
