It's interesting how Yvonne Craig was a "Scrappy Doo" of sorts by the show's creators. Basically, ratings for the Adam West Batman series were starting to dip so they tried to introduce a new character in order to save the series from ending.

Batgirl from The Batman (2004) series is totally underrated. Danielle's performance as a teenage Barbara learning little by little from Batman is just cute and relatable at the same time. Even Batman acknowledges her when she backs up for him.

Okay, so let me have a go at this: 1.) Tara Strong (TNBA) 2.) Angie Harmon (Batman Beyond) 3.) Danielle Judovits (The Batman) 4.) Stocker Channing (Batman Beyond) 5.) Kimberly Brooks (Arkham Asylum and City) Honorable mention to Alicia Silverstone, who although not Barbara Gordon, I thought made for a good Batgirl, as well as Dina Meyer.

Tara Strong is one of my favorite actresses. Not only did she play Batgirl and Harley Quinn, but also Bubbles, Timmy Turner, Raven, Unikitty, Twilight Sparkle, and so much more.

I like Batgirl in The Batman series.

Yvonne Craig was the "jump the shark" moment for the original series. She played the part well, had the best costume, and it was supposed to be campy and over the top supporting character and did it very well.

When I was a kid, I was always excited when a Batgirl episode of the 1966 series came on. I didn't realize she was a fixture of season 3, because they played two episodes back to back, but out of order. So to me I always viewed Batgirl episodes as a rare special episode.

No one ever mentions the straight to DVD Batgirl movie with Sunny Lane. That one took some creative license I wasn’t expecting.

I always felt like Melissa Gilbert as Barbara in BTAS had more personality than Tara Strong's voice work for Barbara in TNBA did, but I dunno if it's partially cause I like Little House on the Prairie or because she was given more interesting stories in BTAS than TNBA. I really enjoyed Barbara in The Batman too.

I really don't have a favorite Bat Girl when it comes to live action or any of the cartoons, but the 3 issue series of Bat Girl from 2011-2016 is easily my favorite version of her. She's more of a young female doing her own thing, not really trying to live in Batman's shadow.
