No cap I've been watching this theory series for an hour straight

The Theorizer says there could be two cats. I agree with this because in some scenes, the cat's ears look maimed and messy, while in others they look fairly smooth and normal. The creators went to the trouble, therefore, of creating two cats. Could one be working for the beldam? 🤔

1st Point: Everything includes bugs/insects, such as: the wallpaper, the beldam but also the portal! It had cobwebs in a particular scene. 2nd point: (I’m not really sure about this point but I’ll say it anyway.) Wybie’s grandmother could’ve set the other people like Mr. Bobinsky to warn Coraline about the Beldam. 3rd point: In the first scene it shows a doll flying through the window: this doll looks very familiar to the ghost that Coraline met when she was locked inside a mysterious room by the beldam and, we can see still in the first scene, that the beldams claws/hands were setting up the doll for coraline.

Coraline: greets wybie's grandma Grandma: *jaw drops*

"Shes not all bad, but shes still kinda messed up." Gotta be one of the best lines in history.

PLEASE I have theory so you know in the start of the movie when Corline was looking for a well and wibey thought she was kinda a Witch well at least she did and reamber how the wind actually picks up until wibey came along so what if Corline is also a fairy child because no human child has lived she is obviously special and I bet the ghost didn't talk to each other until they were dead and she wanted to find the well but why? Not to mention how everyone wanted to help her and she was so careful around the little fairy stone and wasn't effected when the other mother burned it AND she was able to see her parents in the snow globe and didn't seemed that overwhelmed with the magical events.... almost as if they were normal to her So maybe she's an water witch or a fairy's child what do you think?

I actually have a theory, and I think it's a pretty good one, so I'd appreciate if you listen up. In the movie, the beldam says: "so, your back. and you've brought vermin with you?" when I was a little kid I thought "oh, so his name is vermin" but now that I'm 12, and I know the meaning of the word vermin, you'd think she called him vermin referring to him as a gross, smelly animal, like a rat. but it was that thought I had when I was a kid, that it's possible his name is actually vermin. that's what the beldam does, hide things in plain sight.

You can tell that the cat 🐈‍⬛ hates the other mother because he aggressively does his best to rip out her buttons (eyes) when Coraline throws him at her

I think that Mrs Lovet studied magic to try to find and save her sister, and the cat became her helper. Eventually they came up with a plan to free the dead children. They were careful about who they choose and the cat gave advice to Coriline and got Wibie when she needed his help.

Yes I know and I’m very sorry I am extremely late 😅 but I wanted to mention something I need to bring up fairy rings. Fairy rings are mushrooms in a circle/ring shape. And legend as it if you go inside you will be forced to dance with the fairies until you die of exhaustion or go mad. And you may be wondering what does this have to do with coraline? Yes we are going back to the well. If you look closely there is a ring around the well made out of mushrooms also known as a *fairy ring*. The Beldam could have purposely marked it around the well. But what for you might ask? I believe that the well leads to another dimension most likely the place where the other mother lives. But why would she set it up there? She put it there because as a child’s curious it’s they would want to go and look at it. Now as we see at the end of the movie (I am so sorry I might be wrong I haven’t watched the movie in a while) the boy (forgot the name 😅) nearly fell into the well which was *inside the fairy ring* I have reason to believe that that is there for a warning that it is a death trap. But most kids are oblivious and don’t think things through and curiosity takes over. Never imagined my theory to be this long 🥲. I think it could be a portal to the other mother A.K.A the Beldams realm, for that is another portal for the kids to get to the Beldam but that way is different. That way could be a way to get straight into the mirror and they would get trapped and inside (?) and that would mean the kid would be trapped and couldn’t escape and the Beldam could just sow the buttons into their eyes. So then she has two plans she could use instead of just waiting on the tunnel entrance for who knows how long that would take, but the fairy ring well is also a way she could trap all ages for most adults as well don’t know what a fairy ring is. Yes they would probably not, considering they know it’s a well and they could fall into it, but it’s harder to see it’s a well because it’s in the ground and doesn’t look like a normal well. I am so sorry I never expected this theory to take that long but it was worth mentioning! 🤗🙃🥲 I love ur vids sm keep on going ily! 💖😍

in the animated film coraline, the cat was one of the children the beldam TRIED to lure, but failed and the childrens spirit escaped and took form of the cat. this is why he seems to undrestand the nature of the 'Other World' in full detail, including its history and the TERRIBLE truth behind its facade. he tries to guide other children , like coraline, through the beldams trap. **just a theory!**

Something bugs me 1. wybie wouldn't be able to get into the pink palace even if he could because earlier in the movie he says " you know I've never been inside the pink palace" and "grandma would kill me" meaning he's scared to get in trouble by going inside the pink palace meaning he doesn't want to. 2.why would the cat be on the bedlam's side because he helped coraline realise that she was evil and he helped coraline get the ghost children's eyes plus you know the one scene where he killed the jumping mouse yeah that scene he killed it because it was sounding a alarm because he told the bedlam's secret. 3. The bedlam admitted herself that she doesn't like cats like when the world was falling apart and coraline and the cat when inside she says "you're back.....and you brought vermin with you.." even the cat said she doesn't like cats. 4. The cat basically literally told coraline the bedlam was planning to eat coraline's soul

One thing I relived the ghost child and the doll at the start of the movie is wybies grandma's sister but you probably know that

Ok, so I don’t really have any evidence. But what if the bedlam needs the children’s names? Think about it, she knows Coralines name and probably knows the past children’s names. She was also planning on coraline and the other children coming through the door. Maybe the cat was a child who the bedlam didn’t plan, so didn’t know their name. The cat never told the bedlam their name so she didn’t have control over them. In an attempt to control them the bedlam turned the kid into a cat (to use as a servant, similar to the rats) But it didn’t work.

I have a question what about the doll thats in the start of the movie and I looks like the twin sister of the grandmother?and how did the other children fell for her trap?

Also the jumping mice circus guy covered the flowers behind his back when coraline asked him "how are the flowers" i think hes working with other mother too!

Theory: What if the Belledam.. can see in the cats eyes? Think about it! Maybe outside of the dimension in the normal world, the belldam can see thru his eyes and spies on Coraline, but when they are both in the dimension of Belldam, the cat turns into the witches helper. I know this probably seems silly and stupid (im very dumb 😃) BUT, the cat appears THE MINUTE Coraline comes as if the "Other Mother" is spying on Coraline, and seeing her facial features AND outfit to make the doll in order to. one part of one of my theories I think that because in the first bit she was changing the doll of wibys grandmother's twin into Coraline so I think because she put the sand into it it was like a 'key' to get into the other world and those dolls were her next victim

Ok so I watched this when it came out in halloween but I came back because I just thought of a theory... In the scene where coraline is going to her bedroom,when she walks in it shows a picture of her and her parents with a water fountain in the backround.later on when coraline was trying to find her parents in the other world,there is a scene where the other mother is opening the other door and the other parents are in the snow globe with the SAME water fountain in the backround as the picture.that makes me believe that her parents ARE still alive and actually trapped in Michigan and the other parents (the beldams minions) Made coraline move to the other mother to capture her. (I may be right or wrong but this is just one of the theories I have come up with).

I honestly wonder why and how the cat was able to travel back to the fake world at the ending. There’s almost nothing left of the other world with the exception of whatever remains of the house itself. The rest of the world either got turned into grey pixelated smithereens, or is just the giant web inside the old living room.

she let the jones stay so she wouldn't come for wybie next, and the grandma knew that coraline could protect her self and escape. Im pretty sure the cat was the beldams husband and they had a chikld together that later died, and the husband later went into the other world with the beldam, and lost his soul to keep the world, then he reincarnaited as a cat to protect children, and the beldam was trapped in her world, and had the cat lure children back in, but coraline knew she hasd to svae her parents from the mirror, but the mirror is also a trap to lure coraline in, she took the parents but never took them into the other world, but rather kidnapped them by the cat to help lure coraline in, but since coraline escaped the parents were let free, and lost their memories making coraline sound crazy.

I have a theory (feel free to use this as inspo for your next theory) What if.... Coraline is a witch herself I mean I do have proof. At the beginning of the movie she does say "I am a witch, im not afraid!!" She could be a begginer and she might be the only that has the power to posses the "fairy stone" The cat (also known as "Vermin") might be Her Cat as a witch. AND she is the ONLy one to Be ABLE to speak to The Cat. The cat could be Coralines Familliar! I mean they both get along well and are very talkative to one an other but. What if the "Belle Dame" is against witches and trying to decour the yound ones that want to be witches...
