The "Kang is the missing Young Avenger" theory is the most compelling. Most people have come to see the Young Avengers from a mile away and it seems to be coming together in an interesting way, should all the speculation actually turn out to be true.

I doubt Ultron is actually dead. There are 3 laws of Marvel comics: 1. All deaths, estrangements, and character shifts are considered temporary. Any plot development can be undone at any time. 2. “Science” is subjective. 3. Ultron is NEVER gone. This isn’t the comics, I know, but still, Ultron is the villain known for never being TRULY gone.

During the infinity saga, villains could rarely return. We'd get a movie, a small villain, they'd get defeated, we'd move on. No one has a nemesis. Barely any recurring characters. Now, since the MCU isn't leading up to some big finale we can have characters like Kang appear in Loki, come back in Antman, and return in Fantastic 4.

Endgame: gives us grown-up Cassie Lang, all set to get an Ant-Man suit and become Stature Captain Marvel: sets up Skrulls as sympathetic to make way for Teddy/Hulkling Spiderman FFH: Sets up Skrulls in a secret invasion position to get Skrulls more involved with earth stuff, setting up a way to introduce Teddy/Hulkling WandaVision: introduces Wiccan and Speed and a way to get them as mainstays in the MCU, also reminds us of Skrull side story FATWS: Introduces Patriot but doesn’t set him up to become Patriot yet, we still have yet to see how he gets the serum or his gadgets Loki: introduces Kid Loki and breaks up the TVA so future multiverse shenanigans can really get going To really have Kang, I think we’d need the fantastic four movie to work out well, so Franklin Richards can be born the son of Sue and Reid Richards. At least we know for a fact that a fantastic four movie is on the way.

This theory would also fix the flimsy explanation of why the “timekeepers” allow the Avengers to time travel but not other variants. Because Immortus knows what has to happen to keep himself from becoming Kang the Conqueror.

I think its "The One Who Remains" it will he the "first" TVA agent who survived the last multiversal war and created the TVA to ensure Kang (who I presume caused the war) does not get free of some type of containment.

The performance by Jonathan Majors was stellar! The episode was mostly exposition, mostly by Majors, and instead of being bored, I was transfixed. While I look forward to Kang, I want to see more of this variant!

This theory’s pretty well written. I would like if to be Kang, and to be honest it would really make the most sense. But knowing Marvel, I’m going to expect some other Loki variant to be behind everything, because they like to be “self-contained” (even though like every other MCU project has a crossover)

I think that the TVA (Minutes) made Kang into Immortus by erasing his memory and Renslayer needs Sylvie's enchantment to restore him. Renslayer's memories were accidentally restored when Sylvie bit her, so she took over the TVA. It is possible that some aspect of Kang was only possible in the sacred timeline so the rest had to be taken care of.

Just watched the new ep, and... The thing is, _logically_ yeah it makes the most sense for the 'man behind the curtain' to be Kang. If the MCU were a 'real' place, it would be Kang. But... _...thematically and structurally,_ it _can't_ be Kang. Or at least it can't _only_ be Kang. You can't conclude a Loki TV show that way, it would be completely out of left field and break the entire theme of the show. So Kang might be involved in some way ultimately, sure, but it _has_ to be a variant of Loki himself in that castle. A variant played by Hiddleston at that. He needs to come face to face with a version of himself who's _won_ - who's gotten everything he ever wanted, who rules over literally all of creation - and is utterly alone.

@@Nulono Well, they can't all be winners 🤷‍♂️ I didn't know at the time that the show will have a second season - I think that if this has been a miniseries like Wandavision that's likely what would have happened, but now they have a lot more room and don't have to do a quick and clean conclusion like that.

Immortus makes sense because it would be difficult for them to explain the concept of a villain having multiple versions of themselfs in normal situations, but it has been perfectly set up in the show getting us used to the concept of variants beforehand. In fact, a villain that isn't a variant or didn't have variants would feel a bit out of place tbh

In Episode 5 Classic Loki told the variant Loki that when thanos attacked he went to a distant planet and stayed there for a log time, without TVA even noticing that. I think the distant planet is what Alioth is protecting, were classic Loki went and killed the creator of TVA and lived there for a very long time.

So this information about the Young Avengers was the keystone on my Avengers theory I hadn’t realized I was crafting. We’ve watched the Young Avengers form in part, and at the same time we’ve also watched the Dark Avengers form with Madame Hydra. It seems like we were headed for a showdown between this evil Avengers who are the dark reflections of the main Avengers and the Young Avengers, I’m almost positive this will be the next big crossover but it seemed like Kant was separate. You made me realize that Kang is the pin that forms the Young Avengers and is the one who is most likely behind the forming of the Dark Avengers. Meaning Kang isn’t the villain of the next crossover but the reason for it leading to a larger conflict in the future.

I was also thinking exactly that!!! The YA will be only a series, probably multiple seasons, with the characters making appearances on the movies, and the “old” avengers still starring the movies. And honestly I’m fine with that, I think it would work well.

I always liked Kang and I loved his appearance on Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes where even though he was a conqueror he was still a complex villain that just wanted to save the one's he loves and his whole timeline (reminded me of the motivation for Mr Freeze), he was a really nuanced character, so when we eventually do see the debut of Kang the Conqueror in Antman and The Wasp: Quantamania I hope they don't make him just a one-time villain since Nando has proven the potential of this character.

Alright. So I've been thinking about how they could get "The Masters of Evil" into the MCU for a while now and I think Kang would be the one to form the team. After being beaten by Ant-Man, probably with the help of the whole Ant-Team, Kang realizes that there is power in numbers. So he hops though time, grabbing Villains just before they're killed. I'm thinking characters that have an off-screen death that could be seen as ambiguous (Hela and Aldrich Killian come to mind) and Kang gives a big speech to them. And, at the end, he tells them something to the affect of. "And when the multiverse is finally ours, it will look up to us and see their true Masters" Boom! Masters of Evil

* The Timekeepers are Mobius, Sylvie, and Loki. * The lizard people comment is a self fulfilling joke. * One of the Timekeepers has a mustache. * One of the Timekeepers -- "the one that matters" -- is female in the animation Ms. Minutes shows. * One of the Timekeepers speaks like a snake. * For whatever reason, the 3 of them need to keep time in a loop. * "See you soon hehehehe" * ^ That's old Mobius who is He Who Remains in the MCU * I won't be surprised if Marvel change Kang's backstory to be Loki and Sylvie's child. He is blue after all. He may even make an appearance to throw time into disarray and leave the show with a cliffhanger.

This sacred timeline reminds me of something I've heard about before: In one version of the Gnostic theology, it is Sophia who causes the earth to be, the ‘fall’, and the redemption of the earth. Sophia was viewed as the lower emanation, who caused the earth to be formed from her desire rather than following the divine plan. This equates to the Sephira of Malkuth in Kabbalah, which is the Earthly Shekinah.

As Loki says when he begins to understand the apparent power of the TVA, 'Is this the greatest power in the universe?'. Well, yes, it probably is. And in my understanding of Kang, he seems to be a character who is primarily curious, and his curiosity reveals power which corrupts him, but at heart he doesn't seem to be inherently evil

I think it’s evil Loki for 2 reasons. 1. It makes sense to finish Loki’s character arc from the show. To truly change, you need to face the worst of yourself, plus the theme of “what makes a Loki” and more specifically, “what makes a superior Loki” has been constant in this show, it makes sense the true end boss is the strongest of all the Lokis. 2. I think for any non comic fan watching the show, it’s definitely less satisfying for some random guy they have never heard of. If it is evil Loki, maybe we’ll learn he got help from Kang, and maybe Kang shows up in the past credit scene, people will be intrigued and be more excited to see him in future marvel movies.

I love your pitch dude! I think the idea of Kang invading Earth with a army of different versions of the Avengers could work perfectly in a New Avengers movie, with the avengers successors (Lady Thor, She Hulk, Shang Chi, War Machine and others) having to assemble and defeat this variants of the original avengers, proving that they are the true successors of the original avengers and the ones who will continue their legacy. PS: I think the avengers vs kang movie title should be "Avengers Kang Dynasty"

Only chance of Kang appearing in Loki is if he's "behind the scenes" like Thanos in Avengers 1 while the one running the TVA is carrying out his work. Miss Minutes, Renslayer or a Loki variant. Its that or no Kang at all and he'll pop up in Quantumania, then keep showing up after that (through original or variant version)

@@daraghokane4236 well he's not gonna be in the show. They can't give him too much character because Marvel has said "you don't have to watch the shows to understand the movies". They're not going to introduce a major character before his introduction. They would have to repeat and recap to make it understandable for those who haven't seen the show introduction. So they will repeat thanos' first appearance if kang is in Loki because it's one line and a quick glimpse into something bigger. Then they can explain him in quantumania. They want to make it as easy to understand as possible. That would be the easiest way for the average moviegoer who doesn't care about marvel understand what's going on. It's not endgame level yet. It's the beginning. They can't really do too many call backs and cross references or it becomes too much. But that's just my opinion and what I would do if I were involved with it

Time-Keeper = Clock. Clock = Miss Minutes. We know she can possess TVA tech, so she can control the androids. We know she's not a variant because she's not organic. If you were 3 space lizards who wanted to prune timelines, why do it yourself? Why not create an AI and have it manipulate variants against variation?

Ok, I like this version of the theory. So we don't exactly see Kang in Loki. We see Inmortus. And we never see it again. If you only watch the movies, you can pretend Inmortus was never in the MCU. So Loki remains not required viewing.

Do you remember in Battle World when Spider-Man went looking for the machine that reconstructs suits, that Deadpool was there and pointed Spider-Man towards the symbiote? Arguably Deadpool had a huge impact on the story of Spider-Man. However, that is not required reading. You might as well think Spider-Man picked the wrong machine because there were nobody there whom to ask. That is what readers were lead to believe for a while, because, in fact, the Deadpool story was a retcon. Well, like that. "huge impact" and "not required viewing".

This theory makes total sense. Only problem is that marvel has said the shows aren't required viewing, just like mephisto I doubt that they will unveil a huge multiversial/thanos level threat on a show. That why i think its just another loki.

@@suzygirl1843 I was referring to the Game of Thrones writers who were pondering a follow-up project by the name of "Confederate" wherein slavery hadn't been abolished. Of course, it never came to fruition. But it still makes me cringe what might've been had they stuck the landing with GoT. Would HBO actually have gone through with such a tone-deaf, disgusting premise? On topic: Jonathan Majors is an amazing, versatile actor and if Feige chooses to inject a relevant motivation into his characterization without going about it preachy or heavy-handed, having Kang attempt to wipe out slavery could be an intriguing prospect.

My only exposure to Kang the Conqueror was the Disney XD show Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and from what I remember he was pretty interesting. The way they adapted the character, though, was more like Mr. Freeze in that he had a wife he needed to save, but he also needed to change the timeline away from a dark future he believed was caused by Captain America. So basically, the Kang I got to know was a Mr. Freeze knockoff/Anti-Hero, which in of itself is not bad and kinda cool.

I don't think Kang will appear in the Loki show (perhaps as a post-credit scene), but I love the idea that the dissolution of the TVA will allow him to start his conquering

another possible theory that could tie in Kang is that the place Loki and Sylvie are about to go is the Halls Of All-Knowing, and they will meet the Children Of Eternity. and we find out that the children gave an alternate Loki the ability to create the TVA to change his fate! (maybe even infinity war Loki)… then the teaser at the end of the show could be that we see the Children (Then & Now) reporting to Kang.

I knew most of this, but I hadn't thought of the Sacred Timeline as being Immortus way of ensuring he never becomes Kang, and Loki ending the Sacred Timeline as opening up the inevitable return of Kang who Immortus pruned in the original multiverse.

I have seen many Loki theory videos and you are the only one so far that has mentioned Immortus who I also think is the big bad in Loki. This really looks like one of his schemes honestly and I am so hoping they go this route. Kang is way too obvious.

Still haven't seen a video on my theory that ren slayer is "he who remains" the way she dont seem to be bothered by the time keepers and the way miss minutes saves her, And the way Wanda vision made us think there was gona be, mephisto and xmen and a new great actor...all distractions. The same with all the kang stuff just a distraction for internet nerds, normal people who dont watch youtube are clueless that kang could be connected
