A&P had "plaid stamps", similar to Green stamps. You'd fill a paper booklet with the stamps you'd receive when you paid for your groceries in the checkout line. You could redeem your completed books for all sorts of things 😀

My grandpa worked for A&P in Ohio when I was little. My job was to lick the stamps to fill the books for rewards!!

At 5:22, that is the center bowl for a Kromex Lazy Susan. My grandma had one. My sister has it now. I found one at a Goodwill in GA for $5.99 IIRC, which I have kept for nostalgic reasons.

At 7:36, I used to use one of those Paymaster check embossers when I paid the bills at my job. It took a while to emboss all the checks but it was fun using the machine so I didn’t mind. 😊

Hi. You hang it over a door top....put water in it and root a plant....like a vine or something that would hang down the door and decorate it. I have one but use it for a battery op candle. Keeps hall lit at night with 8 hour timer.

If you put a colon in your time stamp, it will be blue. You can touch the time stamp & it takes you directly to that time ie 17:07.

A tajine is a morrocan (i believe) cooking vessel that has a bottom dish and a cone shape dish that sits on top with a hole in the top. Steam can escape the top but it also collects on the sides and drips back onto the food to keep moisture and flavor.

That cherry pi thing looked alright and that golfbag item. I got a thing like it thats actually a coozi for can beverages. I keep metalic colored pens for arts and doodles inside it.

The Sand Dollar you were looking at the sound you heard was the Bones when carefully open the back an the Bones Fall out.When people mount the Sand Dollar under glass they use those as Sea Gull's 😊

Jocelyn, thought of you a lot the last 3 days while I shopped a total of 7 Goodwills from Clarion Pa to Burnham Pa. The prices in western Pa were great compared to the higher prices here in eastern Pa. plus if it didn’t have a price tag, they priced it at the register.

I just bought the large relish tray that goes with the swirl dish with the silver lid. I’m not sure who makes it, but it is mid century the one I thought all in the middle with three things on the outside and look almost like angel wings.

The Arabia cups are called Ruska which means ”autumn colours”.

Actually spesific meaning of Ruska is that certain part of fall, when all the leaves of trees and bushes are short time brightly colored in red, yellow and orange,, not brown 😊. Ruska happens especially in Lapland region in Finland. It is interesting that designer of those dishes thought Ruska as a brown color

The jardiniere was likely made in China in the 1980s as a replica of the older British ironstone. Still, it's a pretty piece.

I'm pretty sure that bowl was a Georges Briard...but with so much of the gold worn off of it, it would be hard to see a signature for sure. I have a couple of Georges Briard pieces that I'm sure have the same pattern, but again, hard to be sure with so much gold worn away :(
