He was born in Norway, but at different times he lived in exile, was a mercenary, and ruled there as a king. He fought for his family's honour, for wealth, and for what he saw as his birthright. Who was Harald Hardrada? The last great Viking conqueror.

Another masterpiece. Being British I knew of Harald’s involvement with England but was interested to hear of his life before 1066.
