Try this version of Filipino Leche Flan using whole eggs. They are so creamy, smooth, and yummy- perfect for Noche Buena!
INGREDIENTS:
10 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon water
1 can sweetened condensed milk ( 300ml)
1 can of evaporated milk (370ml)
5 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

kusinero ako dito sa us,,,, kulungan ng mga batang babae (juvenile) ...as usual pag lalaking kusinero medyo mahina sa baking at desserts...so kanina ginawa ko ito nagulat sila..natuwa ang mga americano..salamat at nakatulong ka sakin...maganda ang kinalabasan! nag times 3 ako ng ingredients!

@@FoxyFolksy ginawa ko ito..times 3 ng recipe mo.. ang nagagawa sa 3x ng recipe mo is HALF BAKING SHEET ... tapos ung half baking sheet na un portion ko cya ng 24 persons... sakto 24 squares lumalabas,.,,, sakto sa platito ang sukat

This is the best Leche Flan recipe (with whole eggs) I have ever tried. I don’t usually leave a comment on YT but this video deserves a good review. You did a great job and thanks for sharing the recipe.

Thank you so much for this recipe! Truly wonderful and I can't get enough eating it. I served a huge portion at a Christmas party and a lot of them complimented how wonderful the texture is. Best of all, Hubby liked that there were no egg whites left. A few changes I did was to use Nature's Charm sweetened condensed coconut milk and evaporated coconut milk, because many of us are lactose intolerant. I also poured half water and half lime juice over the sugar for the syrup so there's no acidic sugary taste on it. Thank you again! This is truly foolproof. I've been recommending this recipe to family and friends.

After couples of failed caramel pudding recipes, this is by far the best ones for me and my family. I used 3 medium large eggs plus 2 yolks (actually 2 out of the 3 eggs have twin yolks, so no eggwhites is wasted). I infused the caramel with 2 strips of pandan leaves, forgot to put the vanilla essence, covered with foil and steamed on medium heat for 50 mins. It turned out silky yet still have body to it, and more importantly no eggy smell at all yeayy. A little bit sweet for us probably because less eggwhites used but this recipe is definitely a keeper. You have no idea how thankful am I 😭 Thank you thank you dangerous alert but still thank you.

steam for 40-50 minutes. (do the toothpick test) :)

I tried this recipe today as I thought it would be nice for Christmas eve but mine didn't turn out right. It puffed up and was full of holes. It didn't come out as smooth as the video. I made sure I stirred it very gently and popped the bubbles out and tapped the mould to get rid of extra bubbles and yet when it cooked it was not great. It is edible but the texture is not great. I wonder where it gone wrong?🤔

I tried it yesterday and it was creamy and no holes… be sure in a low heat…i put it on 320F sa oven for exactly 40mins

mine got wrong too. I followed all the instructions but it turned out a sweetened scrambled egg 😢😢😢

First time in using a big pan and its taking forever to cook T.T center is too watery

Yes, the bigger the pan the longer you have tocook it. Though the center will firm up if you chill it overnight.
