Fun fact: Axolotls have gills AND lungs. They can also regenerate their limbs over 50 times!

Correction, Adult axolotls do. And they primarily breathe underwater. The gills on their head is a good indicator of if they're healthy. The shorter they are, the more miserable

This is cute but still we actually do need to take care of axolotls in reality cuase it's estimated that there are only 1200 axolotls remaining which makes them endangered species #PlsSaveAxolotls.
