This video provides a discussion about why having a consistent flying speed matters. While this is a more basic aerobatic tutorial, the message behind it can help to increase the piloting skills of a wide array of pilots and though out many different flying styles. Finding your flying speed and learning how to stay within that envelope will benefit you when setting up your remote control plane as well. Taking the time to practice these basic skills will provide huge benefits in the long run.
Until next time,
Happy Landings.

On my timber I have a throttle profile that comes up to 50% throttle at 25% stick and stays there till 75% stick. I got tired of moving the throttle by accident while doing rudder maneuvers like stall turns knife edges and flat turns, it works out pretty good and makes me look more professional LOL

I too have a throttle curve between 25 and 75%. Mine is has a very metered minimal increment up. It is not completely flat because that could create an issue with not having power when I need it. What you are doing sounds like it’s working. If in time it feels off, you may want to consider increasing your rudder expo to give you some flexibility between it and your throttle.

I fly in the wind all the time. And I still work toward consistency.
