With willows dad's being a thing that's just further evidence Disney isn't afraid of another similar relationship. This was a big anti point people had for Lumity that Disney wouldn't allow such a relationship to happen but they already have one so might as well include more. No going back from pissing off the Karen's after all.

While i’m not super into shipping lumity and am more invested in the plot, it’s really nice to see a slow progression of amity and luz’s relationship. I often feel like books, tv, games, etc often either make the ship happen instantly with no rhyme or reason OR they draw the ship out for as long as possible with little to no relationship development. I’m so glad the owl house is actually showing progression between characters. I’m also really happy this show has a good balance of shipping and plot. While i love a good ship myself, i appreciate that the owl house doesnt revolve around a main ship. I’m so glad that it focuses so much on the mystery and lore of luz, eda, amity, willow, etc. Another things i’m really glad about is that support for the lgbtq community is subtle and not super in your face. I like the gradual hints of different sexualities that might build up to full on support with lumity. Anywayssss thats my rant and I’m super excited to learn more about the boiling isles and the adventures to come!

Both of those episodes were amazing! To be honest, I watched “Understanding Willow” first before “Small Problems”. Which I am really glad I did because the latter episode was a great mood lifter after the drama filled episode that was “Understanding Willow”

It’s interesting that in understanding willow we see that she has, or atleast it looks like, she has 2 dads. Which either means that male witches can give birth or she’s adopted and honestly I don’t know which one would be more interesting.

Can we all note the fact that Willow having 2 dads was as subtle as Scorpia from She-ra having 2 moms. They played it off as normal and like any other relationship which we don’t see often.

I feel so sorry for Amity, her parents suck big time why cant they be nice like Willows parents? Also I think that its great that they fosters Willow there way better parents then Amity any day. Also I did think that Amity might have a crash on Luz, Sins episode 11 for jure and it looks more and more like she does for jure now? I am wandering something do if her parents didn't like Amity being friends with Willow what would they think if they know that there daughter is gay for Luz? Honestly I love amity so much. She’s got such an amazing character development and she’s just a fantastic character. Her backstory is also extremely interesting and I hope the show looks into in some more.

The one thing that bugged me was how Willow and Gus didn’t acknowledge how they’ve been unintentionally pushing out King and babying him. It just pushed King being the only selfish character.

so pretty much about willow and amity to back together even she care her about so much friendship. Also this lumity best moment's in episode seven in lost language probably entire my favorite owl house show so far. If amity blight was protagonist character's along luz,eda,king that's will be awesome. idk if its normal to do, but its true that Amity panicked after her parents threat Willow, she had to do something and Amity chose to do the less worse way rather than the worst for Willow. And its nice that they didnt instantly became friends again but made it as a start of a new friendship. And yieee, we get to see more Lumity moments, but i paid a bit more attention to the story itself (willow and amity's history) but cmon, you cant avoid screaming when you saw a "moment".

Willow’s dads are adorable, I hope we get to see them at some point.

It seems to me like Amity is a very introverted and emotionally vulnerable person, you can tell that from the way she writes her diary and the fact that she has a hideout in the library, also in grom when her note was torn, she looks down, closes her eyes and clutches her dress. Maybe that's why she bullies Willow, she's putting up a tough exterior to hide a fragile interior.

Okay, this makes little sense, because the first time we meet Amity she's bullying Willow. If the whole reason they're no longer friends is because her parents threatened to kick Willow out of school, why would Amity start to actively bully her? What stopped her from simply telling Willow what was wrong and saying they could no longer be friends because of it, and then just leaving her be?

I'm not sure if holding hands in and out of willows head were shipping moment. I just assumed it was like "the bell is an anchor" type of thing and they are going together. The one thing that was a shipping moment, was how Amity Hesitated before grabbing Luz's hand the first time. But as my wife pointed out, it could also be just her not being used to having actual friendship or being genuinely touchy feely (outside of the twins which do it more to annoy her, which is different).

Imagine Amity's parents reactions of her being friends with a human named Luz Noceda. And Willow's parents would like Luz a lot as her friend in a first impression. I hope that we'll be able to see them in person. Though unlike Willow's parents, Amity's would likely hate Luz. I guess time will tell and I'm curious if Dana Terrace and the other writers thought about this idea. There are some characters in the show who look down on humans as inferior species. Should add some tension and drama.
