I am 21 currently and I have doubts regarding islam. When I see Muslims around me and see how they treat other people it makes me dislike islam more. But recently I've come to conclusion that I should not judge a religion based on people. I think it is a mistake to confuse religion with the concept of god. Every religion has a lot of man-made shit incorporated. But if god is a real concept he/she stands for a real truth. Therefore religion can't be the best way to come as close to god as possible, since every religion wants to buy their whole religious concept with all the bullshit incorporated. Therefore I would make the claim that the best way to proceed, when you believe really in the concept of god is to forget about the concept of religions and just be the founder of your own beliefs, solely based on what you consider to be moral and rightful. And always put your own beliefs to the test and be aware that you'll have still got alot of shit wrong and need to improve. That makes you independent instead of just a follower of a certain religion and it makes you humble to the beliefs of other also.
