One of the more common symptoms of Tourette’s is called echolalia, which involves things like repeating words that you hear people say and mimicking voices and accents. So when her tics pick up on a new word or phrase from a specific source it’s not just the words that are latched onto, but the way the words are said as well. It really seems the source of the problems are connected at the root level. It just takes different forms for each of our brains are wired differently. It has to be some sort of poison causing it. Our world is radiated thanks to the cold war nukes by the 2 shitty countries US and Soviets, and then all the experimental drugs we're injected with since the day we're born. Coppralalia eh? Yeah I also think that has to be the case. Like everyone has some sort of ticks. It can be just biting your teeth or make a little humming sound. The key really is to develop the ability to notice it hopefully at an early point and practise controlling it without getting obsessed about it cos it could drive you nuts worse than any tick could. If you never develop ability to control your own thoughts and actions through meditation etc. then yeah you can end up like her or worse.

I have never felt sorry for people with Tourettes but, I do feel bad that they have to go through always explaining their situation to everyone. Tourettes is a neurological dysfunction and it's hard for them to feel accepted. My Marine wanted to quit the Corps and quit her relationship. I wouldn't let her. She's still in and works very hard.
