If you're actually looking for votes on the puppy decision, I totally advocate for getting a puppy! I've always had good luck letting the generations overlap a bit, and letting the older dogs teach the newbies how to care for their people. It's definitely a bittersweet decision ❤

I've lived in the desert most of my life. I visited a friend in San Francisco for a week. I literally got no sleep!! That city roars 24 hours a day. I want a podcast the dogs!!👍😎❤

Can we do a recurring “Burgers with Crystal” or “Burger Queen” segment every other podcast? 😊 I’m gonna need to hear about this burger addiction as I’m a cheeseburger addict myself. What was on it? Go to burger spots? Top ten burgers you’ve had on the road? Are fries mandatory? Condiments? Other memorable burger shame moments? I’m serious! 😅 Love the video podcast format!

this is honestly the first podcast i've ever watched so i have nothing to compare it to lol i only watch youtube i don't do any of the other social media, one because i'm 63 and really don't need all that and two i work for the school i see how addicted they are to these things and refuse to go there lol. but i loved this its like i'm sitting there with you. i look foreward to seeing you every wed. after work and every sunday as usual you lovely ladies brighten my whole day and now my whole week. keep smiling keep loving and keep up the good work. mike

This was such fun! Normally first podcasts can be a bit wonky, even a bit awkward -- not in a bad way, just in that *_first podcast_* way. This wasn't that at all! You both are naturals with this. There was a great ease to the chat; you two are so fun and funny. This is going to get big I think. Promise you'll never stop the Sunday videos though. I love them *too* much to lose them.

So much to unpack… I also am not a fan in Canadian winters Crystal. The cold dreary.. no thanks. Mexico!!! LA is so busy! But the beaches especially in the OC It’s fun to listen to you two wax on about life and day to day etc. oh and the couch thing… hahahaha! So glad I don’t have a couch.. but have the blankets! Got home from work (I teach at at university, our semester began today) - totally exhausted. So, I lay down, watched and listened. BEST. 43:40 minutes. This is such a great idea. It's like relaxing with friends and listening (I'm a total listener when I'm not working). And getting a puppy - I agree about overlapping generations. I'll have to wait a bit to do ep. 2 (it's 9 pm where I live, and I have things to still do before tomorrow). But, have to say...THANKS!

I don’t like to go anywhere without my dog either. We live in Fl now. My dog swims in the pool everyday, loves to watch anyone fish off the dock, and absolutely loves to go on the boat! I worry about him jumping off the boat when we encounter dolphins😮

I could relate to so much of this podcast. Living a quiet life in the country. The dreariness of the past winter. The quiet times without human contact other than Hubs. The sensory overload whenever I travel the 2.5 hrs to visit my kids in downtown Toronto. Thanks for keeping it so real! 💜

I love your videos and podcasts. The amazing things both of you do with the cabin and land are true accomplishments, that even men would not dare to do unless the had the time and/or experiences to do. I have my own workshop, and work in building sets for shows, the usual and sometimes unusual projects at home. And yes, a lot of it just has to be learned by just doing it. Having someone to teach you how to do something makes all the difference. I am delighted that two women handle big tools and heavy outdoor equipment. If you are looking for a new puppy, I would suggest the following, the rough coat St. Bernard, American Golden Retriever (they have the light colored coats), Golden Doodle (standard size), Great White Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Bernese Mountain Dog, German Sheppard. All of the dogs love cold weather, they all can be couch potatoes or outdoorsy, and they are gentle, too.

I love animals so much that I even caught and released two snakes and many giant spiders in my cabin in France while on vacation. I cracked up about you all calling those sweaters 'vintage' . Do you still eat meat? Hint: Get a birthday calendar for your bathroom/toilet. I totally agree with Jasmine about not wanting to go anywhere without my dogs. I'm at an age now (74) where I don't have to. I have a tiny car that can drive on bike paths so they go with me wherever I go. I lost my two precious pups through old age and was so hurt that I thought I'd never have a pet again, but one day on two separate occasions one week apart, I was asked to foster the two dogs I have now. They turned out to have the very same personalities that my last two dogs had so I honestly believe that they reincarnated just to heal my heart. I'm not sure cloned animals live as long as their host. This was fun .. can't wait for the next podcast.💕💕

I had to laugh when you said you can never find a pen and who uses paper 🤣 I’m a MS teacher and we use paper sometimes and my students in 5th learn cursive. I write in cursive 😁 I love the podcast. I bet the community view of you both and your skills has radically changed to impressed and skilled!
