Someone said that the series is such a hit because it serves the warm and fuzzy feeling of happy safe childhood to everyone: - to the children themselves it can be very relatable - to the adults who once led that happy safe childhood can return back to their childhood - to the adults who did not have a chance to experience the happy safe childhood, the series csn also be extremely comforting for letting you see an alternative to what you've experienced. This all said, I haven't seen a single episode (I'm not even sure if it's available in Finland), but from the clips I've seen, it seems great! As a side note, my all time favorite Spirited Away also makes us appreciate the small & mundane things in our lives, which is one of the main reasons I like the movie so much.

As a teenager i'm glad they don't portray teens and older kids as "horemonal boring idiots who only say edgy insults" or make little kids look dumb and frail, and other harmful clichés. It also doesn't have villains that younger kids might see as cool and try to mimic, it doesn't sugar-coat life, but it shows you how to deal with issues in a healthy manner!

Bluey is definitely a comfort show for me as well as my boyfriend which is pretty surprising. I find that the show draws me in with it's realism and emotional maturity as well as covering topics adults and children both experience while still being comedic. I honestly wish there were more shows like it.

The thing I like most about this show is that proves you can still make great art with simple ideas and consistency in the writing. I feel like with the rise of anime people are getting way to fixated on crazy animation and complicated stories.

Bluey is such an amazing show that we all need in our lives. It is beautifully written, artistically spectacular, and the positive stories are delivered in a way that the whole family can enjoy and understand them. I bawled during the “Auntie Brandi” episode. Due to major health issues with Chronic illnesses, and auto immune disorders I cannot have children. The first time I saw this episode I was babysitting my nephews (5yrs, 4yrs, and 3 months). Right on cue, my 5yr nephew said, “you and aunt Brandi are both not able to have babies”. 😢 This almost killed me. He hugged me tight, and said, “It’s all right, I can be your baby”. I told him that all three of them will always be my baby nephews and that I love them more than anything. 💜

me and mom have watched every episode together! Bluey is what I wish we both had when we were younger. Totally recommend it!

The episode "rain" double rainbows is believe to represent Bluey and Bingo as rainbow babies. The creator of Bluey, Joe Brumm, disclosed that Chili has experienced a miscarage and it is believed that her sister Brandy has been having similar issues when it comes to trying to have kids. This is also referenced in the episode "The show" where Bluey and Bingo are putting on a show for their parents, about their parents. Bingo plays Chili with a Blue balloon that is supposed to represent Bluey, but the balloon pops on her. There are a lot more theories and background Easter eggs. I'm convinced you could watch this show over and over and still find something new each time.

I too, have younger family members who introduced me to Bluey and I thus fell in love with! I love emotional depth, so I really appreciate the honest but gentle narratives within the show! Also the elements of relatability (particularly with Muffin and Socks!!) 💙

The reason as to why Bluey is so special to me is rhat THIS IS the only postive cartoon out there that isn't overly blown with cynical shit in the mix right now in modern media landscape where there is just villain core and negative stuff I dont hate vilalins And im glad there is some sort of a light hearted shows out there for kids because nowadays dark and depressing stuff is the norm which i think is disturbing. So seeing kids lkining bluey puts a smile on my face with a tear.... Becuase well i get emotional with changes. And bluey is just wholesomeness

The reason I love bluey so much is i didn’t have a loving family growing up seeing the parents in the show handle them so well is inturn healing my inner child so so much I cry so much while watching it but in the most healing way

Some of these episodes hit me like a brick. I have special needs kids. Baby race really got me. I remember being in a parenting group and my kid not being able to crawl. Pretty much everything done late. One of Mom's said she didn't kw how I did it. I'm going great encouraging my Lil ones. So at the end ware Cocos mom tells Chilli she's doing great. Oh mad I cried. My kids didn't understand. My 8yr old who can really well told his none verbal 9yr old sister they couldn't watch Bluey because Mom cried. That was fun to explain. Lol

I’m a neurodivergent 15 year old and I love Bluey! I have had a lot of trauma in my life from when I was 11-13 but this show reminds me that everything will be okay eventually.

I love Bluey as a young adult who had a lot of fights with in the home it was hard growing up I feel didn’t have the childhood I should have had but Bluey makes me feel like a kid again and watch it when I feel the need to go back to the child self

bluey is definitely my comfort show. i'll rewatch it all the way through whenever i'm going through very stressful stuff. it's an outlier for me, because i don't normally enjoy rewatching something that frequently, especially when i basically have every episode memorized. but it's different with this show, it can always bring down my stress levels. i'm so glad you brought up the episode bin night, it's kind of underrated.

From that first clip that doesn't seem like a show for me. I can appreciate s*x jokes sometimes, but sometimes I can't because of ptsd. It depends and it also depends on who makes the joke sometimes as well.

I absolutely DISAGREE with the title. I watched Bluey with my daughter, and ALL I was taught was bum bums, fatphobic, and kids and kids ONLY thinking about having families, kissing, and force marriage, adults behaving badly. No wonder adults love and sexualize this AWFUL show. I have seen way way BETTER shows for kids. Like Franklin, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Daniel Tiger, those shows are MORE better, educated, and appropriate for kids. Even Hey Duggee. As a mom, I have a right to judge. I don't recommend Bluey. It's an awful show, in my opinion.
