Why is it so hard to just paint freely?
Especially at the beginning of a painting when we know most everything will be painted over, it seems like it's still so difficult to just paint freely and be wildly creative...why do we find ourselves still being so tight and constrained?
One word: Trust. We don't trust ourselves.
