I like to take the time to thank Elvis for his music. I have Arnold chirai. That I was born with. When I feel at my worse. I put Elvis on. It helps me a lot. And I start dancing Everytime and singing. Do think if Elvis was still alive. That he would still be singing?? Rip KING!!

Ya know, my dad introduced me to Elvis music when i was about 7. The first song I ever heard was "Blue Moon of Kentucky" off the Date with Elvis Album. I was shocked and I remember saying, Whoa who is this? My dad laughed and said sit down and listen I bet you will like it. I was hooked! I am 56 now and my kids and my grand-kids ALL know full well who Elvis is! I played Elvis music to my newborn kids when they were crying etc, ALL of them stopped crying and listened! I would sing Elvis songs to them at any moment no matter how old they were. My daughter still loves to hear me sing those songs! I stayed away from Graceland, I just couldn't bear to see the grave site. Elvis helped me through many a hard time with his music. I miss him greatly. My dad passed a number of years ago, and I know they are together singing! Thank you for these videos, I wish I had seen them sooner but I am here now!

I met Lamar when I worked as art director for ZZ TOP, and Bill Ham flew me into Nashville. I was picked up by a driver at the airport, then driven to pick up $3,500 pocket cash. Little did I realize I was going to meet Lamar File at Cumberland Music Group!!! I had waited for years to meet him, so imagine my surprise when I walked in the door, and there was Lamar!!!!

My family and I grew up poor also. We had many a fried baloney sandwich and pork n beans meal , or grits and gravy vegetables from the garden . Never a steak , didn't even know about that or roast beef. We had chicken only when my parents raised them and then one day we would have them for supper. There was one time I remember having a slice of bread sprinkled with sugar and that was all we had to eat that day. Another time mama was able to make biscuits and we had those with a slice of onion and ketchup for supper. Most days we lived on one meal a day. Those were hard times but , my daddy always worked hard at a saw mill where mr. Rich man filed bankruptcy and he conned my daddy to work for free. Said he would pay him all he owed him when he could. That's why we ate so poorly. We almost starved because my daddy took this liar at his word and daddy was raised that your word was good as a contract! This rich man lived in the biggest , most nicest home in town. It was an Antebellum style home and his children and grand children have the home in their family now as the bastard is dead now !! He never paid my daddy a time for almost two years of work !! I've had health problems all my life starting from that horrible depression way of living we suffered at that rich man's hands while he didn't have to suffer any. So I know about being poor and how Elvis's family suffered back in the day because we were too. I'm 68 years old now and first time I ever saw Elvis on the big drive-in screen I was about 5 years old. I fell head over heels for him then and never got over him. My happiest times was when my sister and I could walk to the walk-in theater and watch Elvis on the big screen. We would catch the matinee around 2 o'clock in the afternoon and watch Elvis until the theater closed at eleven o'clock. It would usually run for two days and if we were really blessed we could go on both days. They would usually be on Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. We never left our seats until his movie was over then we ran to the restroom then right back to our seats . Afterwards we would walk home around eleven thirty or midnight. Our walk was about three miles one way. Those were what we looked forward too. I simply love ALL his movies and have seen everyone of them many many times each. I think of him every single day of my life. Thank you for sharing your great stories with all of us Elvis fans.💕💕💕💕💕

I really don't believe Elvis Presley would get on TV a talk about anybody bad he always kept himself private a his feelings. That's what made me love him more then any other actor or music enterainer. He just didn't talk about people in public he was in to more talking about music a how he treated people a how much he loved singing.
