Hey Mark, I really loved this video! I like both DSNY Newscast and Mickey Views. But I think you hit it right with the BIG PICTURE, $17B is a lot of money and it definitely would cover Magic Kingdom expansion as well as a 5th gate. Given that Iger said the $17B would be over the next 10 years, and it took 8 years to build Animal Kingdom, I think over the next 3 years we should expect super exciting announcements for WDW. Great video!!

12:50 Brickey your perspective on how these ideas and concepts lose their traction really is spot on. My friend did custom equipment assembly for one of the restaurants in AK back in late 96 before the park opened. He met another engineer that programed machine language. This machine language programer was tight with imagineering. He often said most of this information that gets out is accurate at the time. Most of the time it gets shelved when the budget gets too high or they overrun on another... there goes the money. The most interesting one we ever heard from him was state of the art redesign of Tomorrowland in DLR back in 2014. I am told it lost support when it went over 2.5 billion. I won't assume that it was just Galaxies Edge with the redesign of rivers of America and the new infrastructure for Fantasmic and the second Mickeys Runaway Railway was probably already greenlit. GREAT VIDEO. Thanks for supporting both guys.

I’m guessing MC is also correct and Frontierland isn’t ‘going away’ but is ‘moving’ and the entrance will now be near Big Thunder and the railroad station - and expanded to include Encanto and Coco. It doesn’t make sense to make either of those their own land in case they don’t age well.

You know KZfaqrs get so many people arguing with them that sometimes if you’re not careful that negative mindset can become contagious. So it’s no wonder to me people lash out from time to time. Especially larger channels like these where they probably just have people telling them all day long they are wrong or dumb. It can get to you and help you lose your patience. No excuse but it’s easy to see that breaking point.

I love your Disney community videos. I too watched both of these over the weekend. Feels to me that both were fed some info by Disney (could be the same person or not) so that Disney could run some ideas up the flagpole to gauge fan response. Disney is pretty savvy about using social media influencers. I think the New Orleans mini land reskin is the most interesting and also makes the most sense and is probably the one they worry about fan reaction since it takes something away from the existing park. The other indication that it is a good source inside the company is that Tom C was not provided this info. Keep up the good work. #club1313

Great video! I follow your theory that it’s most likely the same person at Disney feeding them this information. Unfortunately, I’ve stopped watching Brayden’s videos for a while now since he was going on Disney forums using different screen names, claiming to be either an Imagineer or Cast Member. Maybe it’s his youth or that he has an overactive imagination, but that soured me on him, along with his condescension when found to be incorrect and sense of entitlement on things theme park related.

I run a welding company and get my work through contractors. With that said, I had to sign a NDA form(4 months before anyone podcast )to look at the plans what is now, woody lunchbox restaurant. I saw architectural, structural, landscaping plans. Could I have reached out to Tom Coreless, Brayden or anyone and screen shot what I saw? Sure. Overall, they have someone on the inside leaking this news. I bet my kidneys on it. Lol

100% likelihood that there are different arms of the company who fully believe something is happening that is different from what the other believes is happening. If they are feeding their knowledge to content creators I could see these creators feeling confident about their different "facts". Frequently teams in the company are working on different projects for the same space and ultimately one will get scrapped in favor of the other.

Your video came up on my end on youtube as I am a huge fan of both Brayden and DSNY I had to listen to what you said. I don't have twitter and wasn't aware of their tiff. I too said to myself that they both had very similar videos within hours of each other. Brayden has been accurate with his inside intell....years ago, I remember he was the only one that said that Mary poppins attraction was tea cups (boring IMO)....and year later, it was finally confirmed when MP is not going to happen afterall.

Ok now. I am soo stunned. I've been watching Mickey Views for 5-6 years now.....and I assumed his age was around 24-26-ish. I just checked out his monorail playset video and now I am sooo stunned. Brickey, We all have our fingers X'd that this will all be built. It also makes sense to build a Tiana Restaurant with some New Orleans Sq. extras. MiceChat would be pissed off because they've been saying that Disneyland is to get a new Tomorrowland. They said it would be announced at last year D23, nothing. Even this week Dusty said it's still coming but if what Braydon and Jack were saying becomes fact. It will show that MiceChat aren't fully inside the inner circle as they like to think they are. Disney will never make a 5th gate, they can’t even handle their current parks. It takes them 6 years to finish one ride. In that’s mae time universal makes a park. Disney is completely incoherent and not cohesive there’s no possibility they can make a 5th park at least with Disney’s current management

But my question to you Brickey as a creator…if you had your content blog ready to go but see someone else release one very similar to yours, the night before, do you go back and tweak/adjust yours or drop it as planned?

Alternate theory: is this a media strategy to "distract" from the Epic Buzz and current high profile lawsuit. I think the source could be high up and "gave the go ahead" because Disney itself has decided to release tid bits in hopes of creating new conversation. When we talk about "winners" I think the real winner is the Mouse. Because here we (positively) talking about Disney World's future in a time where they are facing loud criticism. I will remain skeptical until its official but I think there is real merit to the plan(s) given the current landscape and I cannot shake the feeling that Disney Parks (specifically Florida) are on the reinvestment rise given the strong competition from universal & current lawsuit in FL.

I’ve watched both these guys for years as well have observed their twitter spats and I agree with your assessment on both channels reporting. I think it’s fair to say Jack was rushing that video out because he doesn’t make mistakes I think this is a fair and balanced look at this subject and your theory’s are likely to contain the truth. I noticed them both post these videos within hours of each other and being a channel who covers Disney influencers to a degree I thought about making a video like this but my day job has been insane lately. So you scooped me bricky!! Let’s get into a twitter spat now ;) I kid I kid but maybe dsny and mickeyviews could settle this thing KZfaqr boxing style? Lol

I follow both as well along with dozens of others. Both have points but some issues. With Universal building a new park thus taking the market share and the Iger statement on jobs tells me they are headed towards a 5th park. Villans themed? . Look at and measure the areas of what they want to build and look at size of spaces. In addition the infrastructure in place that has to be changed. Changing backlot is not cheap and in this case, not practical. Look at the changes in DL park from expansions from the 60s and 70s on the Frontierland and New Orleads Suare ares. Chaned dir berm , RR tracks and the changes to the monorail with Indy in the 93-95 era and the disruptions to back lots for Galaxys Edge. Money is cheaper and best utilized with a new parks. Like sports we have the guessing games from experts on the NFL draft and you know the track records for the "experts" ie Mel Kiper Jr. Rarely do they get it even right but it keeps people watching an the NFL wants that and Disney loves the discussions as it keeps Disney relevant and the main focuse away from costs going up. You have so many valid points and are on the right track. But Disney needs a new area to build resorts and spread out the traffic on the property. Love your channels and insight Brickey!

Given the current political atmosphere between Iger and DeSantos. I could see this being a purposeful release of information by Disney to sway public opinion. The State of Florida would be ecstatic with projects that generate income, jobs, more family destinations. But Disney needs the general public on their side to give push back on the Governor. But that’s just my opinion. Both channels are credible. I find it funny that they are fighting over news that should be incredibly exciting.

Isn't it obvious that their source is secretly Josh D'amaro? Josh is an active viewer of many Disney parks vloggers who have met him and interviewed him in their videos. Braden and other vloggers have been invited to special Disney related events and to host and conduct interviews at official Disney conventions. Josh has mentioned to quite a few vloggers that he's a fan of their videos. But Jack and Braden don't mention him because it's rude to name drop friends in high places, especially when those friends are famous and legally sworn to secrecy to protect the overall scope of the project.

I watch all of these channels, but I'm completely in the dark to all of this social media drama that you bring to light (on this story as well as the BLAB story etc). I'm disappointed to see Jack's attitude in this matter. Brayden's comments seem perfectly in line with his personality and usual confidence. I'm surprised to see Jack being so antagonistic. Sadly, I stopped considering Jack a "reporter" a long time ago, when he regularly started releasing videos about his "armchair walt-ineering" where he admits that he's just making up his own blue sky ride and park ideas. (I even commented at the time that his channel is called "Newscast" and this new content wasn't "news.") I think of his content more of a fan page than a "news" page. On the other hand, Brayden has always been SO so conservative about the stories he publishes. He sometimes goes close to two months between new videos because he doesn't deem certain things newsworthy enough. Brayden has put sincere effort into establishing a reputation as a news source, while Jack has veered steadily into the world of "info-tainment." I still enjoy both of their videos, but I don't consider the content they each create to be comparable. If Jack wants a better reputation as a news source, he isn't going to earn it by at'ing other creators in the comments section.

Why does this matter?? I subscribe to both channels and there is no need for negativity (BLAB) and just do YOU...I would say that to you, and both of them as it isn't about "getting the story first".

As for me I like Braydon best this Jack guy sounds a little too pompous to me, Braydon sounds more approachable of a guy. I do not like Jacks tone I unsubscribed him. I do agree Disney needs to play catch up real fast due to Epic Universe coming online. I think the expansion is the best viable option to spring ahead and stay on equal footing with what Universal is doing.

Wow, Brickey has a beef with Braydon? Kind of silly to go off about his age, when he clearly has years of experience. He’s a super bright guy too. I haven’t seen anyone, including Jack or Brickey, be able to break down a quarterly financial statement or a stock holder prospectus like Braydon can. Maybe people are just pissed because he can get a story out faster and better. And he doesn’t make these breaking stories often, but he does them with much better accuracy that others who have been in the game a long time. Mickey Views rules, and jealousy stinks!

With the escalating war between Disney and DeSantis, I have a feeling the $17B investment in Florida may be DOA. And sadly, that makes Jack's and Braydon's news DOA. Disney will not make that kind of investment when DeSantis is trying to stifle and control all of Disney's activities.

“Stifle”, Disney was given reedy creek way back in the day because Epcot was going to be a legit city. It should be taken away immediately, Epcot was not made into the city Walt had thought so desantis taking away something Disney doesn’t need and many other companies don’t need or function with.

Unfortunately DeSantis is a child in the way he behaves and talked. Not disagreeing with you on Disney not needing this district control, but DeSantis’ reason for ending it is pure retaliation.
