@domsdiary_ Indeed. But there is hope that the next Hill+Walker project without the shackles of a Warner Brothers affiliation will be able to use what was intended for the Justice League game that got scrapped and reworked into this one.

I have to respectfully disagree with you sir/ma'am. If a looter shooter went for 1000 to 300 that's a definite failure. If you adore the game, god speed to you. But I'm personally glad this failed as WB has the nerve to put this in the Arkham universe.

Some didnt play it so this video is for them, to not spend 70 dollars on an unfinished story with a lot of problems, tho we in the gaming community all know its bad 😅🤣

Exactly, just how I said in the video, even tho the game has a lot of problems I still had my fun and I agree with the statement of everyone hating it on before release, I was actually excited and even pre-ordered the game 😅

Oversimplification and you're trying to sound high and mighty. Nerds won't turn their back on a good game EVER, regardless of what they said. If it was good, we would have ate our words. Not to mention those who gave it a chance then were part of the wave of refunds. The game does way too much wrong, doesn't even respect the lore and just wanted your money. You like the game. That's great. Doesn't mean it's good. Way too many videos explaining why it's fundamentally bad, yet the only defense is "fun". Mindless fun is not enough for everybody, especially if a Superman game and Batman Beyond game was scrapped for this. The "people just want to hate just because" is a horrible argument especially since everybody is spelling it out for you. McDonald's is tasty, easy, cheap. Doesn't mean it's good food. Colin does a great "sins" of the game and anyone who can shrug off all the points he makes, simply is not a DC fan. How naive Superman is, how Brainiac is rehashed bossed fights, how Harley instantly is a chemistry whiz and magically switches toxins, how a hallucinated fight equals Batman beaten, brah... Seriously?!? "The hate is fake" GTFO here.

Im just saying how I felt, tho I see and respect your point, everyone has different opinions about certain things. And I agree on the on the mindless fun part, I totally forgot to mention it, that it is also problematic to other players who didnt like the gameplay, aswell as the dull boss fights. Many are legitimate, some are suspect and others made up. Let's look at legitimate. It had a rough technical start. Absolutely, people should be able to play the games they paid for, including extra for early access. It was a botch. If you want to return on that you should be able to. Not enough content: debatable but okay, if you lose interest quickly it likely isn't the game for you. It's worth noting that fighters, racers, and other shooters like Destiny, Fortnite and Overwatch have you do the same core loops on the same stages for the same end goal so repetitive games are not uncommon and it';s all about what clicks for you. I fall into this camp because SS's core loop is extremely satisfying to me. Less Legitimate: I hate the story. Okay, again subjective, but you bought a game called Kill the Justice League, what was your expectation? I hear complaints that they didn't give heroes enough respect. Not sure how this can be a conclusion as the story is not over and there have been plenty of tells in the game that things are not what they seem. Not that the critiques care, it's about bombastic hate clicks. But lets assume the story was over and they hated the story. Why then did these same people hate the Avengers game, a game with a story very respectful to the cannon and lore? It sounds like they actually don't care if the story was good or not, they were going to hate it all the same. So let's move on to, it's a greedy corpo game with MTX's. Okay, you also described Tekken, 8, Fortnite, Overwatch, every sports game, even the friggan Last of Us, lol. MTX's actually started with Skyrim, one of the most popular games ever made. They are here to stay in gaming and at least in SS are cosmetic. The core loop is unaffected and all new characters and content are free. Ah, well it's a stupid live service looter shooter and we hate those now. I'll stop picking on Fortnite for this one and bring up that Helldivers 2 recently released and has been very popular. Why then, if live service shooters are on the way out? It's not arrogant to point out hypocrisy. If someone plays SS and genuinely hate it, more power to them. There are many many popular games I think are mid or worse, that's the benefit of having critical thinking. I only begin to roll my eyes when someone uses one of the above excuses to say SS is the worst, but then goes on to play another game that fit's the criticism as well. There are literally people who want Rocksteady to go out of business so they "pay" for the crime of not making another Arkham game. This is a mind rot of hate I candidly have never seen before, and people need to chill tfo.
