I don't think she was adopted. She would propably mention that in BATDR while yelling at Joey for telling her the truth about her creation.

@@violetsanddragons from my own experience , some children can forget almost everything that happened in the first few years of their life , it seems like a dream when we think about it , i think it's because most children don't receive or document information subconsciously , they don't have responsibilities after all , that until a shocking/traumatic/memorable memory that shook their world awakens their conscience , the instinct to improve/control their life kick in and they began to intake information in order to become more capable and keep up with others , in Audrey's case , it must have been her father's disappearance and having to live in an orphanage where I bet it wasn't as good as her life with joey

Well yeah, we see in Dreams Come to Life that the Ink Demon was locked away in the infirmary because Joey thought he would scare off investors. He is just like an animal; if you treat him well with care and are kind to him, he becomes a tiny, cute little Bendy; but if you lock it away and torture it, he becomes angry and untrusting which, for the Ink Demon, shows in his more demonic form the more he is mistreated. We don’t often think of it this way, but what Joey did is animal abuse.

@Simplistic Covers I like the theory I heard on KZfaq, that bendy evolves when he kills and then gets part of soul of thing he killed (or like when he merges with Audrey, getting her soul inside of his body). Wilson destroyed the cycle somewhere at point, where projectionist is dead, but Sammy isn't killed by Henry, because projectionist's head is in game, and Sammy is alive. Because that, Bendy doesn't have energy to transform fully, and becomes that ugly thing he is in BATDR. Also I think that Bendy won't try to kill everyone, if Joey didn't lock him in room, saying he might scare investors

That theory doesn't change anything because when the ink demon was locked away he became angry at how joey treated him and started eating lost ones aka souls to get stronger but when willson came he somehow brought the good within bendy when nothing worked,I don't know how. Also back then joey was a bitter man.

@@user-gu9yq5sj7c i know what it means, what im trying to say is he doesn't deserve this 'redemption', it's half-assed. you wanna know another story with a 'father figure' that fucked up his own 'son'? kung fu panda's master shifu and tai lung. granted unlike joey, shifu loves tai lung before he became violent, but still share the same theme: a father who fucked up their child because of their direct actions. shifu had high expectations which led to tai lung bloated ego and eventual villainy, joey drew isolated and treated the ink demon like an animal which lead to the monstrosity that we now know. but the difference between the two is how they tried to resolve their conflicts: shifu after fighting tai lung and defeated, he apologized sincerely. he apologize how is actions caused his change of attitude and he told him how proud he was despite not having the dragon scroll. tai lung, who's far gone in his anger, continue to be driven by his anger which is understandable. joey on the other hand... he didn't even acknowledge the ink demon- he was only talking to audrey! granted, he knew talking to him is impossible, but the act of apologizing sincerely couldve made his redemption(even in ink form) more deserved.

That's why I feel like he should have been spared. Cuz if he still has good in him then he can be saved. Basically the reason when he is like this is because of Joey

I was making a fiction-based sequel for Bendy and the Dark Revival (just for my own entertainment) and created Audrey siblings as part of the character. Apparently, I made that there are 4 from among the creations being adopted by Allen Gray of Gent Cooperation. I made their names Anastasia, Alfred, Aberforth and Adelina. Anastasia is the evil one (and also orchestrate the killing of Aberforth and Adelina because she knew that they are too many of their own replicas). Alfred is a character I mirrored it from Professor Snape and Credence in the HP series and Secrets of Dumbledore.Alfred chooses to be dark because he empathise his own siblings and their fate. Aberforth was supposed to be dead, but survived because Alfred does not want to kill him (yes, Anastasia ask Alfred to do it). Aberforth live in hiding and has physical deformities (since after his creation). Adelina did not survive and like Aberforth, she also has physical deformities. Both Aberforth and Alfred is the male version of Audrey. Now, we just have to wait for any sequel to this game. Gonna be another surprise.

Wilson calls her "mother" as Betty suggests, I think that she reminded him of his own mother, Martha Arch. Martha seemed to be a strict wife (Nathan says Martha would kill him if she knew he ate a hotdog at the park and was off his diet) but we don't know her as a mother much.

I don't think Betty even knew about Alice in the retreat and just wanted Audrey to get some sleep. Alice had been hiding in the shadows and knows that th3 best way to capture Audrey is to wait until she is unconscious from the sleep medicine Alice had been camping in the north wing in a separate part that was away from the Keepers so she wouldn't get caught and put back in her cell Betty only mentioned that the ink demon ans the Keepers were in the north wing so she didn't know about Alice I didn't like how Betty didn't ask Audrey why she was in the north wing if she thought she was asleep. She could've not known about the kidnapping and just thought she was asleep the whole time but why not ask why Audrey came from the north wing I think they avoided it to keep the plot going as the thegame was almost over

We don't know if Betty has a mask or it's her face. Just cause people wear masks doesn't mean they're deformed. I doubt Betty is with Alice. Stories have to progress quickly or along. It's also for effect. Such as a surprise, jumpscare, and for the player feeling helpless falling asleep. Alice probably thought it's a good opportunity to exploit the sleeping tea. Amok is someone who wants to assert dominance over others. He's another foe. Not every character has to be known or be deep.

@@sammyjaohnson5631 A bit of both probably, but being that Gent is a actual company, people actually get dragged in and out of the inkworld, and Willsons machine apparently actually worked... In a sad, twisted way... My guess is that actual employees have vanished into the inkworld. If they have murdered into it is another thing however I best of will can not say.

It is not inmediatly, remember that at the start of the game Wilson states that it has been months since he banished the ink demon, so Audrey arrived at the cartoon world way later than Wilson who had a lot of time to investigate

Maybe Joey discarded them because they weren't perfect enough for him (they called him "uncle" lmao) and being exposed to the ink for so long mutilated their bodies?? Audrey's body is already transformed from the ink in BATDR, she could eventually end up like them too.

I think they did that in the first game but at the same time they found a way to connect all of the theories and craft it all together in one solid story.

Omg! That's what I thought of this name (Robert)! Just not long, i was creating some characters for the sequel of Bendy and the Dark Revival (for my own entertainment) and then I was thinking the name "Edward", "Francis" and "Robert" sounds great to the surname "Drew". However, I placed these names as the names of Audrey relatives from Joey Drew side. To say, "Edward Francis Drew" becomes Audrey adopted nephew name while "Robert Jonathan Drew" become Audrey first cousin once removed (in the Bendy wiki, it was mentioned that Audrey has a first cousin once removed and when I search up on Joey Drew biography, it was also mentioned Joey Drew has a grandniece. So I assume the first cousin once removed is a guy and the grandniece is his daughter, but maybe they could be the same person). In addition, "Robert Jonathan Drew" has a daughter (the grandniece of Joey Drew) called "Natalie Joey Helen Drew", which I gave a nickname called "Nancy" (yes, I was thinking about Nancy Drew in the Nancy Drew game since they share the same surname so why not make it like an easter egg? However in reality, these 2 games are 2 different things and not related to one another). This is just only fiction-based, but it's gonna take a long way to make a sequel after the release of the game.

I think what happened is that he created an imprint of himself similiar to henry, its just Joey but inkified and also he isnt the real joey, just joey remade from ink that would stay in the studio forevermore. Why? Well its simple, he did it because he wanted to create himself in his world for the pure reason of existing, just like henry, except leave out the torture part of it.

That's what I first thought. I mean, who knows HOW many children were born and didn't just either die off, possibly got captured by Gent, or are living in the ink world.

The Henry you meet in dark revival is the fake Henry the real Henry is somewhere with his wife

I think the story did say Joey trapped people's souls in the ink world using rituals. He said he wanted and had to give them souls. In the first game there's a ritual circle. Some of the ink creatures seems to be tortured souls, lost on how they ended in the ink world and/or vengeful and wrathful cause of it. Some of them seemed to have memories of their previous human lives. Such as Sammy and Alice. Susie Campbell was offered and agreed to being made into Alice by Joey.
