These are the reasons why breast cancer can come back, months or even years in the future It's why it's so important to know what the symptoms of a recurrence are

Thankyou very helpful as alway. Even when you do these 3 things, you sometimes just get cancer, sometimes it reoccurs. I have always been within a healthy weight range, walk 8-10km 3-4 times a week, have an active job, and have never really drunk alcohol. Despite early detection, following my Drs treatments my cancer may still return. But having said this, I could get run over by a bus. Fate is fate. All I can do is my best to look after myself, and Mother Nature will take her course. Some things are just beyond our control. It’s no one’s fault, or what you did or didn’t do. Just enjoy the life we have. Despite having had being diagnosed with cancer this year. I have never been happier because I appreciate the life I have. Whether Mother Nature and fate deems it to be long or short. 🌼

I had a breast cancer scare recently - thankfully the lump is a benign complex fibroadenoma and the lymph nodes under both arms were also benign. It has been a wake up call for me - I’ve started cleaning up my diet, getting myself on a normal sleep schedule, and have been working out at least 5 days a week. I still need to speak to a breast surgeon to possibly have the lump removed. Sadly, I needed this scare to stop taking the life I have for granted and to take better care of myself.

How to drop the weight when suddenly in medically induced menopause?? I can’t even drop 1 lbs! It’s terrible.

obviously a very accurate answer but also cancer is the failure of the immune system to recognize when cells become genetically disordered and so another, and probably common, cause is reemergence.

This has also been my question as my tumor popped up in the last year, hormone positive, and for first time in my life I started eating lots more veggies & fruits but also tofu and soy products!! Then this tumor. Would you say sugars, even from fruit, would be a growth contributing factor?

I saw a breast cancer Dr on TV. She 2 got breast cancer. Is doing great too. But she said there is a targeted implant that I think radiates just that area. Why can't they use that for colon or pancreatic or really any cancer?. Just a thought on your thoughts? Plus, why do they say a couple of drinks are now good against cancer. Resveritol, etc.. Thank you. Again, I wish you all the best.

What is your take on occult breast cancer?

As an old pathology analyst, the Pathologist_P always told us: in early stage discovery of a lumb: resect as much tissue around the lesion as possible to avoid ‘contamination ‘ and therefore possible metastasis later/so chances for recurrence should be minimal. Then radio/chemo. Later discovery that the sentinel node state was proven to be a solid indication for tumor free or not tumor free status of the additional tissues. Now: if you get the tumor out with a wide range of tissue and the cutting edges are free of tumor cells, and also the sentinel is free and all is taken out amply, you do not have to operate again and a chemo / radiation will do, that must be a very solid action. Why or what reason could there be to operate a second time? Not everything away or contamination cut… 😮 Or what reason can there be for recurrence: simply too late discovery , difficult position of the lesion or other… Any opinion? Thanks a lot.

I've heard that micro metastasis can already have broken off and spread in the body even before cancer is detected. They then lie dormant, possibly for years, before waking up. Are you able to expand upon this?

My two decade breast recurrence was dx by oncologist number one as a possible second primary concern. The path report indicated recurrent and three other 2nd opinion oncologist indicated it was a recurrence. Oncologist number one said not even the pathologist can absolutely determine if the tumor is in fact a recurrence or a second primary tumor. Please help me understand.

No! Cancer is not foreign to us. These cancer cells are part of our bodies. They do not travel and spread! However, if you body is inflamed cancer will return in different part of the body. Cancer is a result of persistent and chronic inflammation caused primarily by incorrect diet.

Unfortunately we are all exposed to enviornmentAl toxins /chemicals that can n function as xenoestrogens and stimulate our estrogen receptors. Also , people have genetic variations in how well the liver can effectively detoxify enviornmentAl toxins . We can take precautions to minimize exposure( ex drink filtered water) . Just to name afew water world wide is contamination nated by PFAs ,( forever chemicals) and degrading plastics have contaminated our oceans so that bits off degrading plastic have been found in human blood. The livers ability to detoxify can be supported by diet ( cruciferous vegetables). Since higher intake of fruits and vegetables decreases the risk of many cancers I think it's worthwhile to include them when recovering from cancer ( I am a breast cancer surviver,)

your very correct when 0 when will doctors wake up and realize that YES INFLAMATION cause many illnesses and yes cancer,,she just said it, keep your weight down, exercise,NO alcohol,THIS KEEPS THE INFLAMATION LOW, all doctors should go back to school for nutrition & biology, the chemo kills everything and causes more INFLAMATION !!!!
