The lack of self-worth and self-love is staggering out here in these streets on both sides! But it was devil inspired and it started from childhood with the fatherlessness, rejection, abandonment, etc. the breakdown of the family unit is what has caused the break down of society. Nothing but, the truth. I was celibate for 3 whole years after my divorce but, turned around & made a mistake by sleeping with a man that woke up my desire without the intent of wanting to be with me. That was 9 months ago & I have not slept with him again (although, he tried it again but, I turned him down)/no one & recommitted to my celibacy. Since then, many guys approach me only wanting to take me out to have fun. I don’t want fun, I want a pure, healthy & whole relationship/marriage again for the final time.

I was with my first love for 10 years and only about 2 of those ten years were good. After that it was arguing and emotionally abuse from a narcissistic mooch who wouldn’t let me go no matter what. I was a dang FOOL to think that man would eventually marry me. Meanwhile I was sleeping with him unprotected (thank God I never got pregnant by him), he would cheat on me constantly disrespect me, say some of those most spirit breaking things to me. There’s more but who has time for that. Left him a year and a half ago and never looked back. Reconnected with God and found my way and now I’m thriving with a new job, car, my weight and body appearance is better and I’m back to my happy cheerful self. I’ve also been abstinent almost 2 years and will never be the cow giving the milk for free again. I know my worth and I deserve a good man and HUSBAND and I won’t give it away again to any man who is not that!

I had to walk away from a fiancé at a time in my life when all I wanted was another husband, because I want ‘until death do us part’, so that would have meant hopefully 70+ more years of harboring an undercurrent of stress, depression and low self esteem because that is how he made me feel with his actions and behaviors. All I can say is the relief I felt after driving away from his house was astounding! I thank God for being with me!
