Ashley, your home looks beautiful with all the fall decorations. You are so right about adoption (especially adopting children with special needs). You’re 100% teaching your biological children to be selfless, loving, & kind, & you’re giving these beautiful babies a better opportunity at life. Enjoy your comfort meal. We all deserve these moments now & again. I honestly needed this! Thank you! A little emotional for sure but mostly bc what you said is so true. Would you be able to do a video on what it was like when your adopted kids came home? Mostly your relationship with your husband and children still in home with the new adopted children? Did you have hard times? Do you ever feel like your missing time from your spouse? And just any helpful advice with that. I love your walk with God. You always give such much needed godly advice.

Well said about adoption. I had family members tell me that I was crazy to want to adopt a child, especially since he was neglected and mistreated before he came to me. He is now 26 and a patrole officer. G od is good

Love your fall decor you always decorate so nicely. Also wanted to tell you I grew up eating catfish. My Dad would go fishing and bring them home and clean and gut them and Mom would make them so good. So glad you had a good time at the movies, with your family and all that good. I am raising 3 of my grand daughters and I have a daughter in law that don’t think I should do it and I don’t get no support from them and my son don’t have her side but doesn’t like to do anything to upset his wife and family. So I’m on my own and plus I’m single so it’s me and the girls. ( my mom and aunt support me but they are older so they help when they can. But I just love their support. I truest feel you should do what you can for children and I feel people like you and your husband are such Godly people who help these poor little children. ❤ When I see you and your husband with your girls I feel God in what you do .

Girl, I have been asked and TOLD the most ridiculous things. May I share? I had a niece who had a child of their own, ask me "What about MY child?" What????? Her child? I love her child but I'm not supposed to have children via adoption because SHE has a child? I had a elderly person in my family say, you don't know what kinda child of child you may get. What if you get a child that grows up to want to kill you all? I truly had no response! Lastly IS an experience more than comments, we are ALWAYS EXCLUDED from family events, (I have ONE siblings, our parents are gone and it's her and her kids and grands . Who tore me up on FB for blocking her, which let me say I did NOT block her, she was taken OFF. Reduce toxicity for sanity) because MY children will get ALL the attention. Might I add, these are ADULTS! I was LITERALLY told, my kids are left out because they are NOT neglected compared to a few other cousins that are also not neglected, but, do indeed have parents with issues, that is the mindset I have in my life from blood people! No, they aren't "family" they are simply related. . What's hard my children are noticing, and I don't know what to tell them as to why they are left out. I just try to do other personal time things with them so they don't notice so much. And pray for guidance and grace. That hurts! Thank you Ashley for your HONESTY and the heart you have for others. We, adoptive Mommies and Daddies, especially the babies, need you and your guidance. GOD IS working through you. . love to all!

I hadn't been to a movie since 2014. We saw The Blind last weekend...they did a good job! My hubby & I was almost $50 for 2 tickets, 1 med popcorn & a bottle of water....ugghhh

I think it must be an American thing to decorate for different seasons, it not something we do much here in England, your evening looked just perfect though x
