On one hand we have no real evidence to say he did it besides hear say. On the other hand his only defense so far is that legally speaking he did nothing wrong. Which is not saying that he didn't do it. Considering the severity of the accusation it is really concerning that he didn't immediately and clearly that say he didn't do that.

I see what you’re saying, but you’re missing some major details as to why people say this doesn’t make sense. Primarily, the fact that dr. Disrespect *took Twitch* to court, and then Twitch settled *in his favor,* paying him. Him taking them would have meant this would have came out in discovery, and that doc wasn’t afraid of that happening. Remember that kind of evidence would have ended his career if it came to light, He would never have done that if this was a possibility. Secondly, twitch also would not have settled paying him if they had this kind of damming evidence against him. They would be paying him while holding back evidence of a federal crime. That just doesn’t make any sense, even with a company as incompetent as Twitch. Finally in regard to how doc responded to these allegations, thats really not as suspicious as you made it seem. Keep in mind this was a legal agreement between them to settle outside of court, meaning doc still needs to be careful about what he says about this case. Likely he’s under NDA to not talk about it publicly, and anything he says thats not already public information (ie: that it was settled with no acknowledgment of wrongdoing) could be seen as breaking contract. That includes saying that this wasn’t what the ban was about, as that’s still releasing information about the case. Overall, we need to take this info with a huge grain of salt, especially considering that Cody admitted that he had not seen the proof himself, this is all still just second hand information and word of mouth. But with these being the kind of allegations that end people’s careers even when false, it’s very important to give benefit of the doubt to the accused. So tl;dr: there are just too many problems for us to assume the worst about doc in this case.

If he got banned for illicit sexual activity/grooming a minor, why did he sue Twitch, and then why did Twitch settle and pay _him?_ Seriously, that should have come out in discovery. Also, the accusations themselves don't add up. He was banned for planning to meet up with a minor at a convention that had already been cancelled? And these messages were allegedly two years old _when he was banned,_ but he was planning in 2018 to meet up in 2020? Oh, and the _sources_ for this are all secondhand, and they have no proof, no messages, no receipts, they weren't witnesses, nothing.

I don't see any reason to accept this at face value. Stuff like this gets overexaggerated all the time and the fact that no one has any evidence other than to trust them is a moot tactic to convince people anyway.

Man docs gonna have a field day suing for defamation. Why would twitch pay him out his entire contract and recently lift the ban from twitch users being allowed to play with doc if all of this was the real reason?

He said, "no wrongdoing was acknowledged," because he was talking about the lawsuit surrounding twitch banning him for no reason. He sued twitch for the ban, and they paid out the whole contract because both twitch and dr disrespect admitted no wrongdoing. If he actually was messaging minors, I am sure that it would have come out during that court case because twitch didn't want to pay out the rest of the contract. So, I am sorry, but until I see verified messages back and forth between him and a minor that can be objectively analyzed and concluded that he was doing what that one guy on X said he was doing, then I am not believing shit.

Whatever the reason: So many male content creators get and got accused without evidence and only speculation "because it makes sense" without any evidence. Their reputation is forever tarnished and yet the actual false accusers get away without repercussion. So unless there is concrete proof, I will not point fingers at him. Simple as. I remember when KZfaqrs like Diesel Patch were fully convinced Pyro groomed a teenager "because it made sense". If I were you, I would not play the speculation game, just report when there has been actual proof.

The plausible situation is that he probably actually was texting someone, not identifying age and such. Said person ran to Twitch like "oh look, im a minor and doc is texting to meet up" Twitch took swift action...but as said occured said person then turned around and said "oop just kidding im 24"...so no legal paperwork was drafted for the potential crime BUT Twitch...with egg on its face just kept the ban up...later told Doc a year later...Doc goes on to sue and win, both parties agreed to just not talk about ANY of incident publicly (which is why his response is worded like that. But at the beginning...twitch employees only heard down the pipeline from 2nd hand sources that doc was talking to a minor....but never got the rest of the story....you cant sign NDA's when it involve a crime to this nature....but anyway yeah so took the first part of the story and blasted it online. Im pretty sure he was and still is under a non disclosure agreement which prevents him from directly talking about the allegations as a result of the lawsuit and ban, hence the vague response. Unfortunately, it's pretty much up in the air and nothing's solidified. Things could 110% backfire on Twitch employees if a defamation lawsuit is filed by Doc if the allegations are deemed false. Twitch has been known to play favorites for years apparently and that alone should speak volume first.

Ok, now that would make sense, when they provide actual evidence which can easily be fabricated, though with doc's quote, that is very suspicious, bruh, provide actual evidence unless an nda is being enforced, then that would make sense, also I haven't checked about why the ex employee is an ex for a reason or not, people need to check out all factors including his potential past as well, just for insurance, however knowing twitch, finding out the truth is going to be very hard.
