I think people have to learn how to find alternatives to pricey things, and that can be hard if you are used to going out and spending a lot at the movies for example. One of my cousins got a book about sign language out of the library and used it to teach her kids. It was a great way for them to spend time together as a family, and her daughter still remembers it. Frugality just isn't about not spending any money -- it's about being inventive with resources as well.

In my experiences extreme frugality creates resentment. I had to learn balance. Being able to do fun things within a budget made life better as I got out of student loan debt. Good luck guys you can do this!

Great message. Extreme frugality can lead to burnout and also splurging. Increasing your income is a better and more sustainable way to save money.

This is so true. Frugality needs to be in balance or for a season. We do a month at a time and then reevaluate.

Cigarettes are my only luxuries, when I can afford them. Extreme frugality allows me to survive so I must be among the exceptions to the rule. It's like the Universe conspires to keep me from success. This video is one of my liked videos. It gives me some hope. Thanks again. Peace be with you.

I agree even thew i what my money i do still enjoy my life i just make sure i put it in my buget every couple of weeks i do somethibg wuth friends and spend a little. Cash i might even work a few extea hrs at work and then plan a weekend awsy i watch my bills so this can all be possible..

Extreme frugality allows you to get a shooter ( buy money) no not dope ! Auction money. Don't have a truck use somebody else's let them take the risk of reliability insurance laws etc. You just want to buy for profit. Go for scrap value. You sell it for other than you made bank.
