@@normalpair Otto wasn't a villain he was an antagonist same with Kebin, they say it many times in HI3 Otto did a lot of goods and a lot of bads.We saw this side of him in HSR too, he did help people Like the two guys or the kids who was attacked by the flying fish

Let's not forget that xianzhou is a fleet and luofu is just one ship. With the epilogue, I don't think we will stay there any longer, that wouldn't make sense if we have to attend to a banquet on penacony. But with the new characters being from xianzhou I wonder if we will have a main quest

Maybe its just a setup for something after Penacony? Theres still 5 more xianzhou ships, who knows maybe one of them is near penacony or something

It makes sense why she wouldn't want to be with the hunt. The hunt wants to get rid of abundance, but a part of the hunt is the act of the hunt itself, the battles and the constant fighting. Yukong and others have already pointed out this stuff about the hunt. That Lan doesnt care about casualties and ally from foe and that Lan has the power to sway and win battles but doesn't until so many lives have already been lost. The battle that Lan leads against abundance is a long one and possibly one that wouldn't be concluded for a long time. Another path might offer a faster solution than a long, drawn-out suffering that the hunt provides.

I wonder whether Lan even wants to end the fight, assuming it could. I kinda wonder whether Lan is just so fixated (and enjoying) the act of the hunt itself that it doesnt want it to end and allows yaoshi to leave unscathe each time just so it could prolong the hunt

@@Maevix3142 Aeon are bound to what their path do as long as they exist. Lan became an Aeon because it want to finish Yaoshi but if Yaoshi dies, so will Lan. Edit: I was wrong, Lan might might change into a different path, idk

I had the same thought as you about jingliu joining a new aeon. And nanook was my first thought but i remember a line in yanqings quest where she says she will "never again fall into the path of destruction"

I think Xianzhou story aka the Hunt still havent end yet as we visit 1 out of 6 Xianzhou ship. Most likely story will continue in another Xianzhou ship.

Akivili has hard time right now because will be choise between aeons vs his new friends jingliu ,which gonna hunt the abundance. Akivili gain a test which will be decide he is worth it of trust likewise gain of power 2 aeons to lead of their paths. This moment show us true of colours who is bad and who is good. Kafka remind us between that future is not impossible to avoid. She know that at begin whats going on but have to carry on the stellaron to gain in our hands safety. However the way of gain this paths were our role to proof we are that one who bring the peace in the xianzhou between 2 of sides. Because paths doesnt care about the people they stricted the rules for users which want to lead his power. Jingliu itself by lead of power of destruction want finally finish this war so she decide to be emanator of this path. And thrown off away path of the hunt. Because she knew it very well this path wont help them. Luocha has own goal but what connect them they want destroy also abundance which makes for them great group for revenge. But they know yaoshi is such strong so decide to go JY to help them by using his hatred of the abundance to joined them. This is also a key of moment because show us also the JY wont rather lead a hunt path. Thats why he choose a erudition path.

My hope is that Jing Liu will lure Yaoshi to be consumed by the Aeon of Voracity, Oroboros. That could potentially get rid of Yaoshi entirely since we know the Aeon of Harmony was able to ascend by consuming the Aeon of Order. If the logic carries over, we have Yaoshi eaten by Oroboros to create a new Aeon that potentially balances both paths by having a ceaseless hunger fed by an eternally renewable resource. Aeon of Stasis/Eternity?

I doubt they're gonna win in the end, its like an uphill battle for them, they will really need the of help of multiple Aeons to bring down Yaoshi's Abundance, similar to Tazzyronth before. Not to mention Lan who is hunting Yaoshi for over thousands of years, still fails on bringing the Abundance to it's knees. Their quest would just fail just like Lan, they would be doing this forever.

Pride comes before a fall. Jingliu might be overestimating herself or perhaps is super confident due to some secret she might know though I would agree killing an aeon is likely not going to be easy. That damn ebon deer was hard enough, let alone its mommy 😂

I truly Wonder if Jing Yuan will call Back the Nameless at some time and if we see a Jingliu Boss fight. I would love to see a Jingliu Boss fight though especially if Jing Yuan and Jingliu get into a standoff where the Nameless are called back before going to Penacony or a world or 2 of story later

Im curious how they would handle that, would they show in game that wed travel back to the xianzhou luofu or perhaps the xianzhou luofu ends up in Penacony. Like right now events wise we do kinda go back to belobog for example buts its never shown that the train reverses its course and heads to a previous place. Not saying it couldnt happen, just wondering whether they would mention it explicitly

Aeon can't be destroyed BUT can be changed or combined with other Aeons. In Weltz flashback, Otto talked of getting rid/reduce the Honkai energy on the Moon, maybe that what he is planning to do: Combined the Aeons of Hunt and Abundance into Herrscher of Rebirth(life and Death) , killing many birds in one shot. Boss Otto had BIG PLANS. The Title of the Game is HONKAI: Star Rail AFTER ALL, no surprise it will have something to do with HONKAI.

@@Maevix3142 13 Herrschers ,13 Aeon in Archives (15 stated but 2 are dead/absorbed/converted) Stellarons could be Herrschers seed to create a Star Rail from Earth's Moon to this universe. Weltz seem to know a lot on how to deal with Stellarons given how rare it is.

have we ever gotten information about what happens to an aeon after they complete their goal? Since we know for example The Hunt is to hunt down all abominations of abundance, what would happen after that goal is achieved what are they hunting then?

Has it happened with "The Justice", it will probably be absorbed or absorb another concept, creating a new path. My theory is that since the abundance and the hunt are two sides of the same coin they'll probably fuse together, creating a path that resembles both concepts

Thats not how Path works. They didnt become Aeon just because they have a goal. Its the ideology and the perspective that aligned with the path. The goal that they had is something that are born from it.

I dont think there has been an example where an aeon reached their own personal goal. If there was, I also dont think their path would disappear as the paths are more abstract in nature and seem to originate from sentient beings itself so they dont entirely disappear even if the aeon achieves their goal. Most aeons also seem to just exemplify what the paths itself mean like qlipoth just wants to preserve everything and I think he doesnt really have much of a reason behind it other than just pure obsession

I feel like if Jingliu successfully ends The Abundance a new Aeon will emerge cuz Lan only ascended to Aeon-hood on a purpose to hunt down Yaoshi's abomination but if there's no Abomination he basically has lost purpose, Lan can't be "The Hunt" because there's nothing to hunt anymore. Lan & Yaoshi balance each other like Life & Death.

I dont recall atm, but Lan likely 'hunts' things other than yaoshi's abominations. After we beat phantylia I seem to recall that one of the luofu people mentioned it was foolish for destruction to target one of the xianzhou ships as it may incur the wrath of Lan and once it has its eyes on you itll keep hunting you till youre gone

I don't think we will stay on Loufu. Hoyo will not repeat the same mistake as in GI where we got stuck in Liyue too long. It's even possible that some stories might run in parallel. I still don't get what the motive Jingliu and Luocha had to bring Stellaron onto Luofu? If they wanted from Jing Yuan to join Nanook then Phentylia has made that impossible. Maybe Luocha didn't know that Tingyun wasn't real, and why would he give her the Stellaron? Was Tingyun secretly working for Medicus? So many questions.

@@Maevix3142 In her cut scene with Yanqing she said she wouldn't unsheathe her sword unless she has a target because it would disgrace Lan and bring about destruction. So I don't think she's with Nanook either. Maybe she is just not part of a faction.

Yaoshi is good or evil thats how lore describe this one god. He is like a balance of universe which works like karma to punishment each others who make a bad choise and gain own consequences. Yaoshi is most intresting of each other godz after Aha which for us once is good once is bad however he treat mostly everything like just a fun joke which is created by hapiness. Akivili itself is connected with yaoshi but because Yaoshi has own rules akivili cannot found the way to found the same language as yaoshi said. To make do that akivili has to meet a Lan at first , which allow him to prepere for meeting with yaoshi and help him solve the problems which bother them.

@@normalpair hard to say technically his path is convined to by greed and need to the lore story. When somebody need a help he can refuse because hunt rather survive then enter to the fire. He is also such patient like hunters to do that. According to the choises from last time SU. Also when he see a chance he take it advantage and took everything what he need to obtain. So you can call him as selfish god actually :) To awaken LAN trailblazer have to start realize he want gain this what he deserve instead allow the people do what they want. Rn as storyline you saw we give them what they want but we not gain practicly nothing from this just only few parts of mystery scribts which have to solve itself.

LOL I doubt they're gonna be able to take down Yaoshi to begin with, look at Tazyronth and his swarm for an example it took multiple Aeons just to bring them down, not to mention Yaoshi is one of the oldest Aeon far surpassing Lan, so Yaoshi's followers are limitless. If Lan wasn't able to take Yaoshi down for thousands of years, I doubt puny beings would make a dent to the Abundance. So no worries broo Yaoshi won't be going anywhere.

3:38 This is false, Welt explicitly states (if you talk to him before getting on the Luofu) that both Lan and Nanook aren't classed amongst the stronger Aeons.

@@loider3365 we don't know for sure since dan healed himself when he transformed, but it's safe to assume bailu got most of the healing abilities while dan got a nerfed version.

Even when we see both dan heng and bailu sealing the ambrosial arbor, dan heng speculated as much as he was able to unseal it but not reseal it, something bailu accomplished (with his help). I also like to think this is the reason imbibitor lunae is destruction path and bailu is abundance 😁

If they side with Nanook then the trailblazer will become their enemy in the finale. This would imply that one of the last paths that we will unlock will be the Path of the Hunt.
