Little back story on Chris he has wrote for so many artists for years. And finally about 5 years ago he decided to record his own music. It blew up so fast. He was at the top immediately winning award after award. His wife sings alongside him. Him and Just Timberlake are very good friend. Just shows up and sings with him. They have music videos together. Every song he sings is omg just unbelievable. So glad you loved it. You felt every song note and word he played and sang.

I'm not a pop country kinda person and Chris Stapleton and his lovely wife are a breath of fresh air. That old school feel that I just love. It's the same reason I know every word to a lot of Tupac's songs. I'm certain I'll never know ALL of his songs especially if you include his underground stuff. I just can't with the auto tune group.

I downloaded it. Couldn't take a chance on losing that lightning in a bottle, it's so rare. When I turned on the TV and saw that it was a country awards show, was about to change channel, but then his twang was a lil bluesy. But when Chris hit that first run, I was hooked.
