It would be good to hear about other mudras too; they invoke a wide range of qualities that we need nowadays.

I thought this video was really important. There are so many times when we consciously expect the world to be a certain way because we have taken a view. Additionally there are also many times when we have been unconsciously influenced and we have that uneasy feeling that something just isn't right. This leads to anxiety or the need to defend something which subtly drains us of energy. Indifference is a spiritual tool. It doesn't mean we lack compassion it means we are discerning. We understand and use our energy intentionally. When we act, we act with the full force of love and compassion. This is true spirit energy and it is wisely directed to make positive change. Thank you for all you do and I wish you well.

I love this. I’m American and my fellow Americans usually try to pull me down into strife. This is true especially every 4 years during a presidential election. It’s awful, but I see it as a test of my resolve. I’m also autistic so I naturally see both sides of arguments without much bias. Dual empathy is partly the reason where I just see things differently that everyone but people who are similar to me in their autism. BTW, I’m a recently diagnosed adult male (52) and a retired military officer, so folks often ask me my thoughts OR they just assume I’m ultra right-wing. I’m neither right or left. I follow Sanatana Dharam. 🙏 Aum Namo Narayanaya 🙏🙏🙏

Diminishing political thinking, practically abolishing our politics sounds like a real thing for us Americans to work towards in our own daily lives. (We are rarely presented a meaningful choice of candidates, literally lesser of two evils for the most part, and they call it the democratic process. It's basically always election season, you can't avoid it unless you unplug completely.) Who knows how helpful that sort of actual unity could be to our own country and the rest of the world if carried out on a large enough scale? That would require a certain maturity and wisdom which too many seem to lack, wholly consumed with their own self-righteousness and often willfully ignorant besides.

As a 66-y.o. My perspective about this info is just this. Each generation pulls itself along , doing as their parents did, until they decide to change. To Grow. If you are teaching that this is good advice for a older group to cope with the rush. Good. But this generation must multitask to not only ascend but to consolidate other ‘verses information and use it effectively. Namaste.

being neutral is not to say that you shouldn't engage, but that you are unconcerned with whatever the outcome may be of engaging, and help those who are not recognising the true way (or whatever one wants to call it in one's tradition). You can, and perhaps should, still engage and maybe even try to convince others of one's position, but be willing to lose (that is, be willing to change one's own mind or be willing to accept that the other in question is not changing theirs and disengage, or whatever other negative outcome one can think of). If for example a person is being attacked on the side of the road, a person who is engaging in neutrality will intercede to cause the attack to stop (can take many forms. verbal altercation, fighting oneself, sacrificing oneself entirely even)... a person who is uninvolved and, by refusing to act, lets the other individual keep being attacked, is not engaging in neutrality since they are letting harm come to another. Similarly, in political thought, neutrality is only attainable in opposition. If, for example, a person wants to run a site or a channel or whatever, and they want to engage in it with neutrality, they will discuss the facts of a situation as the facts are known, along with what each side brings up and comment on those statements/positions with the known facts. Giving a false equal position to the issues is to cease ones neutrality and support the side that isn't concerned with facts or ethics or whatever (in some cases, e.g. news channels, ignorance is not an excuse because their nature is expected to be engaged... JoeBlo42069YoloSwag is another matter and more complicated). In terms of moderation, neturality is done similarly. If you want to remain neutral, one needs to delete messages that are vitriolic, discriminatory, or overtly political. That is, deletion of comments of transphobia (for example) is engaging in neutrality, whereas leaving them up assists in spreading the ideas of others (whether one agrees with them or not). I do agree though that the proliferation of the internet causes individuals to be expected to know everything or feel as though they can get one over on experts... this explains the rise in belief in a flat earth and geocentrism, as well as smaller things like needing to have an opinion on every little topic like if you support a certain singer you never heard of before. If one does not know, then, in the attitude of neutrality, one should admit to it or (on the other side) be perfectly willing to accept ignorance (and either educatate and/or let it go). Heck, i've been insulted before for not knowing directions somewhere i hadn't been to before, since i don't use my phone whilst driving. TL;DR = (roughly) neutrality is a good thing to accept, whereas false neutrality pushes up falsehoods for the sake of not getting involved. Engage with things neutrally... engage with things to advance truth/Truth without reguard for how others react or what they want. Don't disengage just to maintain the illusion of not being involved and, thereby, allegedly blameless

I think that a spiritual disciple or master can be engaged in the world but without becoming overly attached to it. I'm not talking about the silly culture war BS, I'm talking about children and the disabled going hungry and homeless in the richest country in the world. I think the compassion one cultivates would compel many to actions for which Ghandi is a great example. I think we need to bring these two worlds together. Imo, that's more of a duality, separating our embodied collective existence within the spiritual realm from that of the material realm. Indeed, some type of mass awakening is one of the few things that might slow our headlong race to extinction. Ever wonder into what you would reincarnate (hypothetically of course) if humankind were gone?? I understand what you're saying and don't completely disagree, but I can see both sides. Namaste. ✌❤🔥👁

I'm American and I often ask myself why other Americans are so political. I've lived out of the country for a while but when I speak to US friends it's like jesus christ do all of our conversations have to end up being politically charged?
