Does anyone remember Ashley Greene? It seems that at one point during the height of the Twilight movie franchise, the world couldn’t get enough of Greene.
But where did she go? Since the end of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2 in 2012, Greene has slowly but surely disappeared from the big screen.

I like her with long hair but as Alice she looked gorgeous with short hair she looked just like a sprite, fairy or a pixie.

JnnyUtah35 Of course she was trying to get away from Alice she didn't want to be typed cast. And in Hollywood when you are known by a character that made you a household name you want to try to get away from that character so when you try out for new roles you'll be taken seriously. Since her movies aren't doing so well maybe she should get a new agent. O r maybe she's picky or she's trying to get more money.

Her face in Twilight is absolutely stunning. When she is in other movies, she looks like any other actress. Bring that face to other movies and that will put butts in the seats.

There's a lot of people who made it big for a brief amount of time, and then fell hard. This channel is just going over why some one-hit wonders never carried on if anyone is wondering why they aren't in many movies anymore, and there's certainly a lot of those people to go over.

She didn't mean it like it ruined her career. What she meant is that she'd fly intentionally in first class to the premiers and other twilight related events and now she just won't do it anymore, she was actually just kidding. I've read this interview and the video just changed the whole context of what she said.

A lot of people even forgot she was on the movies all together. While the actors who play the Cullens have a much bigger role and nobody will forget them.

I hate it when people say they regret the big role they landed, such as people from Twilight, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, etc. they wouldn't be anywhere near as famous if they hadn't got it, and the money they made from it certainly makes up for the 'shadow' it casts over them. She got $1.25million for one movie. With all four, that's a very reasonable sum, and is well above the average household income. Plus she can use that role to land other ones. The fact she hasn't 'escaped' the shadow has more to do with her acting than her circumstance. idk it just pisses me off that people blame their past fame for not getting any more

I'm kinda glad Ashley's not a huge big celebrity A-lister. If she wants to stay low-key then that's her choice. I gotta say she is one of the most gorgeous Hollywood actresses I've ever layed my eyes on. She would make a great Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite film.

She needs to pick a look because I tell ya right now I cant recognize her in anything. She looks so different from one look to the next that I dont know who she when I look at her. She is kinda interesting though because with her, a simple hair change wether be short/long/blonde/brunette, makes her entirely different but to the point of unrecognizable. Which is not good. Thats probably why she doesn't stick with people.

+CamnayR24 +amsaric +Erica Woods To a point I agree that she looks different (but in various photos, I didn't watch much of the movies she has been in, so cannot comment on that but, for instance, in the photos in google image search - in almost every picture she is almost entirely different - somewhere her tan is different, somewhere her hair or haircut, somewhere her facial expression or angle of her head etc.). If she indeed has an unrecognizable look because it shifts like this in almost every movie it could hamper people remembering her and thus it could bring her less roles, BUT that is only important if the people who decide on who gets roles use THAT for the process of selection which I don't know if they do. Other than that for an actor/actress that is a very good skill/ability to have. Perhaps some good people who know more on the process of deciding who gets roles can comment and enlighten us? Cheers!

+Free Content Man Jennifer Lawrence had this same trait before she got famous. Even her mother walked right by her not recognizing her with brown hair. All it took was a breakthrough role and interviews for the world to memorize her face. Also, she won an Oscar and yet she was still unrecognizable until after the first Hunger Games movie. Keep in mind that an actor's success and career is not at all tied to how well known or famous they are. Mark Ruffalo had a well established and enviable career before his role of fame as Hulk in the Avengers. Ashley Olsen, Kristen Stewart... Wonderful careers outside of their blockbuster roles. Even though actors dream of breakthrough blockbuster roles, those roles don't actually make careers and many actors are aware of that and prefer frequent various quality roles in film to explore and showcase their skills.

With Jennifer Lawrence is that shes so overpopulized and shes everywhere. That even when you dont wanna know who she is you will know because shes even in ADs etc. I know who she is from our school as girls wanted to watch Hunger games in our "last lesson of the year" so we did. But Im not impressed with her at all. Shes just quite beautiful.

Idk probably bc she's back doing what she's always done before twilight which is starring in indie movies? i think part of the reason why people talked about her a lot back then was bc they were obsessed with hating everything that has to do with twilight and the media's thirsty ass didn't help either but i think that's changed now. Or at least a little bit. Her nose is a strange shape I'll give u that but you can see from her childhood photos that she's always had a strange pointy albeit cute nose ... it's just as she's grown older the fat subsided so it's gone thinner and the strange shape is now really evident

Kristy was AWESOME. I'm kinda mad it didn't get a wider release. She's probably going to end up like Katharine Isabelle, underappreciated in indie films. Also, Ashley started as a model and continues to do that. She should get a new agent and parlay her modelling gigs into public appearances to get her name known again, then look for critic-bait indie films to star in. Attach herself even in small roles to films with actors that draw to get seen.

It amazes me how anyone who manages to appear in a movie tends to assume that they deserve a career outta the deal. Most people never get to be in one movie their whole life, let alone a series of movies, but because they are in a movie, they act like they deserve to be in every movie. If more of these actors would realize how lucky they are in the first place to ever appear in a movie, we'd see less of this kinda garbage.

that was my best guess why her career never took off. literally EVERY report of her IRL is that she is extremely full of herself and absolutely insufferable. all of the young cast members who had real credits to their name before twilight convinced themselves that they're as talented and beloved as meryl streep as opposed to the hollywood equivalent of instant ramen that everyone would drop as soon as it was no longer necessary to pretend to love them (b/c twilight was a cash cow, no-one in the media could risk alienating their ticket to a share of the profits)

I always thought she was beautiful but I haven't seen very much talent other than playing Alice so maybe she's just another cautionary tale but with a break a better agent and a good director stars have been remade our turned massive stars in later years tbh I think the vampire role killed her enthusiasm it's happenedto plenty of actors the work was to much for to little pay or the popularity jst didn't suit there personality
