There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! The only problem is your wallet is a lot thinner afterwards🙃Even though i've experienced both scenarios, i still end up buying a replica.

I completely understand where you’re coming from. I think often times it’s a lot harder to use the expensive bags too because you know the $$$ it took to get it. Everyone buys replicas for different reasons and truthfully I think at the end of the day these are all just items and we should just enjoy whatever makes us happy!

Sarah- I have a replica Chanel 19 Bag- it came boxed identical to the Auth. I unpacked it, unwrapped it, it has Auth cards, it is real lamb skin, soft and buttery. Smells delicious. Not one soul has been able to identify its lack of an expensive tag. I paid $475 for it. I really think it depends on the supplier/factory etc. The only difference from a real one is on the inside, if I peer down the hole of the lock clasp (the stationary part, not on the flap hardware)- it has a solid hardware securing it and not a deep screw in a hollow hole like Auths. THAT. IS. IT. And I had to dig for that difference - it was not apparent by just looking at it. 😂

Replicas are not cheap since you’re still paying 10-20% retail price for a rep. Not to mention there is a community of very wealthy women who are spending money on replicas for the sake of not spending thousands. At the end of the day don’t be a snob just because you can afford an expensive bag and don’t fake the funk if you got a replica. Nobody cares what you got so do you

If a bag is 3400, 20% of that would be 680, and 10% 340. High quality reps are usually 10% or less of the original price. The ones that cost in that $600,$700 range are Chanel and Hermes pieces which cost way more originally. 20% of 10k is 2000, and 10% is 1000. Your still not at 10% for a high quality rep. So if you don’t see bags as an investment i can see why you wouldn’t see the value of spending the full amount.

To be fair, most the bags I have bought and sold I've lost money on. So it depends on the brand, style, and material on whether they TRULY are investments. In my opinion if it's not Chanel or Hermes... you're 50/50 losing money!

I bought a LV messenger bag (2004/2007 era) atyt: *pre *esluxscom* ars ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. A store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of excellent quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I saw ZERO differences.

I I have a replica piece in damier ebene its 6 ring key clay that looks really good after 4 years canvas look perfect and I also have a authentic mini pouchette that after 6 months of sitting in my purse the corners began to fade turned black sent pics to my sales associate he sent them for review they said that it was just normal wear and tear . After a Year that piece is fading everywhere and the chain is fading also after having it 3 year and it looks worse then any fake piece. So now I prefer my small leather good to be replica because I’ll never purchased a small leather good from Louis Vuitton again and pay that much for them to tell you that it’s just regular wear and tear.

I totally understand! If I had an experience like that I would absolutely feel the same way. I will be honest and say that my replica GM DE neverfull is still in incredible condition even after years of use. and it’s a bag i reach for numerous times a week even to this day!

I know what you mean, I've seen some horribly used and abused looking pre-loved Louis Vuitton SLG's for sale, and I said to myself, if this is how they end up looking after a few years, what's the point in paying such high prices?! So far I've stuck with their leather SLG's, although they also end up looking a mess after lots of use.

If you can't afford a designer bag and feel some type of way about expensive designer shit then DON'T FUCKING WATCH THE VIDEO. Like do ya'll even read the tittle of the videos before clicking on it? It clearly says in the tittle the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful even though I can't afford any of these bags yet, but I know one day I will. And I want to know which designer bag will be really worth my hard earn money and I will get the most use of. That being said, if you read this thank you for sharing this video with us ,please make more videos like this. Maybe *esluxscom* next?

I use my *yutulux* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.

You misunderstood me. What I’m saying is, it’s illegal to buy them in the US so they hold no resale value. My point was simply if I would have spent my money on authentic pieces, I could have later sold them (potentially even with a profit) rather than being stuck with fakes that I can not legally sell. I have said multiple times I am not against replicas and even offered to share sellers I used to use. I just don’t personally spend my money on them anymore.

I used to buy loads of real Lv bags. I have lots in my closet the canvas cracked in a few of them and after the two year warranty they said they could do nothing about it because the warranty had expired a week prior. Pissed. Not worth it.

I totally understand your frustration! Cracked canvas is considered “normal” wear and tear but it’s SO cheap to fix, there’s really no excuse for them not to replace or repair a bag, especially at the price tag they are. I think luxury is taking advantage of the fast fashion nature of things and it’s super sad to see.

I received the *esluxscom* small puzzle bag for Christmas in textured leather red and I adore this bag. It is so easy to use, so we'll made, love the ease of the zippers and can hold so much. It’s probably a good thing you sold it while it was still in good condition if you could no longer enjoy it without worry. I think at the end of the day we have to be real with ourselves that material items aren’t built to last forever replica or authentic, i’m not someone who wants pieces just to have them. i want items i know i will use and along with that comes having realistic expectations on their long term condition. i’m glad you made peace with your decision and still enjoy what you love!

To be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are *esluxscom* buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do

I’m here to back you on some of these comments lol. People change their minds and it’s just fine! We grow as individuals and love something one day and then love something another day! These are just bags, not relationships. Plus in my opinion it’s better to buy less or buy pre-loved authentic bags. I commend you for making this video and putting your thoughts in a video

The reality is that large designer brands such as Gucci, Hermes, LV, etc. are becoming outdated as consumer demand has shifted from wanting to appear "wealthy" to wanting to show their "intelligence". 10 years ago if you bought a *esluxscom* you were "cheap" and "fake", now you're "smart" and "cost-conscious" because customers have realised their's no need to pay 10x more for the same quality bag.

Hi Thanks for sharing. I just bought the *esluxscom* 2 days ago which was on my wish list for my occasion bag, is it worth buying this? The félicie pochette is really nice and classy and you can use it in 4 different ways, so the CA showed me the félicie from the drawer and I checked on it then I asked the CA if he can get another stock so I can compare the one he pulled from the drawer so he did. I noticed that the félicie from the drawer the leather was a bit shiny or glossy while the stock he got the leather was matt so I choose the shiny one that attracted me but I just wondered why they are different and you might have any idea. When I got home I just noticed that when you opened the envelop the back mid fold leather was a little loose is it normal when openning but when its closed its ok no problem (I didn’t noticed in the store and compare to the other one). Any advise will appreciate, I do always love watching your videos.

lvguci I have the Coach tabby 18 and wow that bag didn't transfer a bit of color, I even wore it in the rain with my dark denim jacket, keep in mind it was absolutely pouring and I put it on underneath my jacket Got wet, that was over 8 months ago, it's very sturdy and over a year it's still looking great, also the same light yellow color so you can easily match it with anything, even a jacket, when you wear It really pops when worn with dark clothes

I understand that feeling and like anybody, it’s a DAMN good feeling. Like magic almost. I buy reps for a couple of reasons : The first is that the black community is conditioned to spend their money on these high fashion brands, and these brands. Do. Not. Give. A . Shit. About us. A little well placed revenge is good for us. The second is : I have several pairs of real Yeezys and a real pair of Air Force low DIORs. That feeling I got from the real ones? That was fucking dangerous and will be the end of me and my prosperity. The third : I look at clothing as a mix between how one would look at art and how one would look at a video game character. The red clothes increase my bravery. The Apple Watch with the red band increases my STR, DEX and a little bit of INT. The silver band Apple Watch increases my INT and DEX by a lot. I NEVER study without it. And setting up the whole set of clothes is like painting. picking out a set is a great outlet for my repressed creativity. Also, I look damn good. *poses dramatically like in Squid Game*

Sis, your just as funny on here than TikTok...lol! I purchased a *esluxscom* from Rainbow... and I get so many compliments on that bag and the chain is heavy. Then I came across a Chanel tote bag. (I only use it to travel) every time I'm in the airport, women stop me about that tote. Side note: Chanel uses gold plated now for the logo.

Dupes, Reps or the real thing, I feel like people should do what they want with their money. As long as you’re not lying and saying you got it from the actual designer store or site. I totally see your point though. I’ve been mixing authentic with reps and for right now, I’m okay with that. I get what I like because I like the style but don’t want to spend 20K on 2-5 bags. I also don’t look to them as investment pieces so that could be another reason. I’ve been blessed to make a really good salary so when I buy nice things and no longer want them, I give them away rather than selling. Plus, I hate the hassle of selling LOL. So yeah, I think it depends on where you are in life and your mindset I guess 😅 My true luxury lies in travel and experiences so I’d rather spend 20K on a trip versus a bag. That might change in like 5 years though. Who knows lol.

A lady I work for her house worth £3-4 million and guess what. Her bags are *esluxs* worth £60 on the road. What l learned from her. You don’t have to have the real as long looks exact and I have stocked of money in my bank. I used to buy the real to a point realising I don’t need to waste money

There is a market for replicas and there is a market for authentics. The first one probably is a student or an employee whom they can’t afford an LV expensive bag. The second one comes from a wealthy family or a businesswoman who can afford an LV expensive bag. At the end of the day, let’s not beat on each others bush now !

My only comment is that I think all women should invest in the stock market. Not handbags for long-term investments. I’d like to retire, and you’d have to buy a ton of handbags to make enough to retire confortably in 30 years, and handbags are not very liquid like stocks and bonds 😂

There was a documentary recently where they interviewed very wealthy women. These women are talking about how they no longer buy authentic wallets, but instead choose to buy really good wallets *condup* designer bags they love. They then invest the money they save in other things such as real estate, stocks, etc.

Thank you for making this video I just started my *esluxscom* collection and I love watching people's thoughts and reviews prior to buying them it's something I've worked hard for and you have too and I hope people can stop being bitter about subjects like this and I hope they can if anything be inspired to work hard for the things they love and are drawn to.

It is hard to say what to think honestly. If you see someone who is stuck up and see others as lower class, while qearing fakes then they are pretending to be something they are not. However of there is someone who just likes the look whether fake or real and doesn't care if someone asks and is truly honest I amnok with that. For me ,I would rather save up to buy the real thing than be caught with a fake. To each their own.

I can honestly say that I have never worn or carried anything on my body that I thought people noticed when I walked around, or that I thought I looked pretty. I just don't care. Thanks for reminding me. Things are only worth what people are willing to pay. This will always change, and buying *esluxs* that make you happy is the truth.

If you can't afford designer bags and feel a certain way about expensive designer bags, then don't watch this video. Like do you read a video title before clicking on it? The title makes it clear that the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful and although I can't afford these bags yet, I know one day I will. I wanted to know which designer bag was truly worth my hard-earned money and one that I would get the most out of. That being said, if you're reading this, thank you for sharing this video with us and please make more videos like this. Maybe lyxbag is your next choice?

I work in the medical field. I was stressed so I bought a designer bag and carried my authenticity card in case someone said my bag was fake. Turns out nobody cares...nobody! The other day I complimented a co-worker of mine on a bag and she surprised me by telling me it was a knockoff. Because the workmanship of her bag is not inferior to my genuine bag. CHANNEL NEWB HERE!!! How are lower priced items on eBay authenticated? On most resale sites, anything priced over a certain amount (like $300 on Poshmark) is automatically authenticated. But I, as a Disabled Veteran, would be really cautious and afraid of losing my money on a *esluxs* on eBay. I scanned the comments, but didn’t see this question. Sorry if I missed the answer!

Bullshit. I have a bunch of real LVs and can’t sell them even at low prices 😢. The fakes though go super fast on marketplace. Real bags are just not worth it.

I can tell the speedy is fake. Color is visibile I own a speedy DE.If you can't afford luxury you can buy mid level luxury bags. Fakes have no sense

The coloring is definitely off & the D rings on the sides are much larger than they should be - dead giveaways! I totally respect your opinion about replicas - hence why I stopped purchasing them. That being said, people have the right to spend their money however they would like and for some, replicas is what they prefer. Just depends on the person. Thank you for sharing your opinion!
