Audiobooks have risen sharply in popularity, and so I’ve started making my own. Why did I bother? And what books do I have coming up?

Fantastic point about oral tradition. My friend and I were speaking to how audio is like going back to the old tradition of griots, but with tech.

Audiobooks are my main motivation for writing. It will be the first thing I'll do. Audiobooks done right equals an amazing experience. I actually get afraid from audiobooks books, but the horror movie of that book, not so much.

Great invite. I’m not a book reader because I have ADHD but I love learning. My main pathways are KZfaq and Audible. I’d recommend you to consider extending your content detailed content and even some audiobook clips here on KZfaq. People actually LEARN a lot of on here! I’m a subscriber now. Looking forward to more. Keep it up! BTW, you’re super cute and I love your personality! Oh, and also I’d highly recommend getting a lavalier mic for your audio. It’ll do wonders!

Audiobooks are great! I especially enjoy them for nonfiction. I'll check out a lav mic-been considering one for a while. Thanks for the subscribe!

I have more than a hundred audio books on my audible account. I used to listen to a book or two per night, at work but they banned phones, so I’ve slowed down to a book a few days during commutes. It’s actually frustrating when I DONT find an audible option for the book I’m interested in…

I totally agree! It's just more convenient. Also, I'm sorry to hear your work banned phones. I understand that they don't want people mindlessly scrolling on their devices, but audiobooks and podcasts ought to be exempt. Why should you have to sit in utter silence? :(

Someday, if we're able to train an AI to speak in someone else's voice, we might be able to automate it! We're already seeing instances of this, such as the Samuel L. Jackson Alexa Skill. :)
