Ik people trash talk v6 but I think that’s ridiculous. Some people can’t afford the bigger engine and still want to be a part of a great community like the mustang community. I don’t think they deserve the hate they get... ( unless they put badges on it to make people think it is something it is not)

The Cyclone V6 is no slouch, 305 HP out of the box, that puts it on par with, or ahead of, pretty much all the pre-coyote mustang GTs, especially if you put the lighter weight into the picture. Put a turbo or supercharger on a cyclone, and you'll end up with a mean, lightweight machine! Or, coyote-swap the car... find a gently used F150 engine, do a build on it, and you'll have something pretty sweet too.

I have a V6 Mustang for a daily, I love it.

Coming from a previous turbo 3.7 mustang owner. If you want to enjoy it, I would recommend getting some rear gears, tune and exhaust and you will enjoy it without spending 6k+ to boost it .

Love the look of the car, nothing wrong with a V6, I have an S550 V6, my daily driver makes me feel special and it's still fun, plenty fast enough compared to what else is out there. Love your channel by the way !!

I just bought a 2012 Mustang V6 Kona blue,6 speed and I love it,replaced the tailights with the 2013 Sequentials and added 19" oem wheels off the 2021 Gt and it looks amazing,I'm very happy with it and I get compliments every where I go,mine has the panoramic glass roof which is a nice touch 💪🏽🐎

IMO a smart move. That 3.7 V6 is bullet proof IMO. If you do the exhaust they sound really good. I like the S-197 better than the 550 also. I do not own a Mustang but if I had the opportunity to get one like yours I would probably jump at it. Subbed to your channel so I can watch what you do.

Traded my 12 v6 for 11 gt500. That was fun. The V6 was my first car and I love it.

I’ve got a s197 5.0 myself, but man the dollar per car of a 11+ v6 is really tempting for a fun track car. If you haven’t found a set of tail lights yet, I have some stocks off my car. I’m sure you already have planned out what you want to do with the car... but I’d love to trade notes on some ideas I’ve had for a budget build v6 mustang. It mostly revolves around sorting suspension and brakes for cheap cheap... like less than $1500 for all of that, and possibly a little diy/skunkworks build that could put it door to door with a 13/14 gt500 (but that would probably be best to save for a car that’s not a daily driver)

I love a good V6 engine. Great car! love it. I'm getting a 2023 Coyote Mustang soon, but before that I was looking for a newer V6. If I had known how good the S197's were, I would have bought the S197. Nice pick up.

For a fun, affordable, and reliable daily, 3.7’s are great. A few mods you are at 300 whp and running high 12’s in the 1/4. I’m a v8/coyote fan boy but have been impressed by the 3.7 and its capabilities

I bet you could bring the front bumper back to looking great with a clay bar, some good polish and a good wax. 💯 guaranteed. You might need a compound too but I’d try it with just the clay bar, polish and wax first as it don’t look bad, at least not on camera. Use a dual action polisher. I bought one that connects to a drill and it works awesome and it won’t damage your paint. Years ago I had a red mustang with some heavily oxidized paint. I was amazed at how much the red came back simply by waxing it.

I’ve had my 07 pony edition since it was new, and it’s been a great driving car. Of course I have the 4.0L v6 and not the 3.7 which has more power, but the 4.0 is good enough. After owning this car for the last thirteen years, I’m thinking about selling it though. It’s not that I don’t like it, it’s just that I don’t drive anymore. It’s been sitting for the last two and a half years and that’s the worst thing a car can do; if someone else can enjoy it, then I’m willing to send it off to a new home. It only has 64,000 miles on it so it has plenty of life left in it and those four liters are pretty reliable engines. I’m not sure why there’s so much hate for the v6 cars, they’re great drivers. Not every Mustang has to be an 800hp, 9 second quarter mile monster that some jackass will end up either blowing the motor up in or wrapping around a telephone pole. Enjoy that little 3.7, it has plenty of power. And like some others have posted here, a different set of gears - I hear a set of 3.73s really wake them up - and maybe some mild tuning and it’ll be a fun little scooter. If I end up keeping mine, that’s what I’m gonna with it.

I have an S197-' V6, only issues were the regular water pump and the recent driver's side air bag recall, which the dealership fixed for free. Prior to that, I had a 2001 which I enjoyed to pieces!

The 3.7l is a great engine. Idk why everybody puts it down. There are people out with awesome turbo/procharger builds on the 3.7. Even people running impressive times on the track just being fbo.

Nothing wrong with a V6. Carroll shelby has a Shelby CS/6 wich is a 4.0 V6 Mustang supercharged. I have a 09 4.0 V6 and I love it mine is modded and tuned, suspension mods and 💯 shot nitrous. I also planning on buying a 2012 or 2013 boss 302 LS I will still keep my 4.0 and continue modding it because it is a unique build you do not see everyday. No matter what I respect all car builds just no haters. Love the ride sir.

Now...paying for it and not doing much. Blank canvas and so far window tint coming. I would like to know what your future car is going to be, because I'm thinking a mini van. You will have your dream car all of about a year and you will be back to a Mustang again.

If the goal is to save money for a bigger better car I am not sure why you would spend any money to modify this car it seems like that would just further delay the end goal. Already looking at bumpers, taillights, exhaust, shifter etc. I understand why you bought it no doubt it's a fun car, any Mustang is but modding it if it's temporary?

I had a 2013 red v6 mustang and I loved that car to death till I recently got into an accident which totalled my car completely. Luckily everyone is ok. But my car was not. Had to watch it get towed away and now I'm in the market for another mustang.

The bubbling on the lip of the hood is corrosion of the aluminum hood caused my iron contamination during manufacturing. I have a 2006 Mustang GT with this issue. It was supposed to be resolved in later years but it’s an issue Ford has never resolved and it still happens on some cars. There’s ford documentation out there explaining the issue. They admit it’s their problem but will do nothing to fix it. Affected cars should be recalled. Even if you fix it, it comes back. The best thing to do is replace the hood with a fibreglass one or do what I did, buy one of those black bug deflectors. The deflector hides the bubbles perfectly and it provides some hood protection and it also looks pretty good on the car. I bought one from Ford that has Mustang imprinted into it on one side. I think it cost around $100 or so.

Just buy a GEN6 Camaro SS 1LE. You really seemed to like the car. The Alpha is a far better platform than Mustang has ever ridden on. It's ashame it doesn't sell better. While yes I own an 02 Camaro SS, I also own a 88 GT, an 03 Cobra and a 03 Lightning, and have owned other Mustangs. I have love for both brands.
